Time For Tea Designs is celebrating its January release with a blog and Instahop. There will be one randomly drawn winner for Instagram and one randomly drawn winner for the blog hop. Each prize will be a £25 gift card to the store. Hop along to see some amazing inspiration from the T4TD DT using the release.

All you need to do is:
1. Comment on this post and each of the DT hop participants.
2. The hop will close at midnight on Sunday 23rd January UK time.
A random draw of all those who comment on instagram and/or the blogs of the DT taking part will take place on Monday 24th January and the winners announced shortly after on T4TD Instagram story and the T4TD blog.
The next stop on the hop is Mihaela
If you get lost you can find the complete list on the T4TD blog HERE.

So onto my card... the first stamp I coloured up and just had to use was this adorable pear couple. I absolutely love that you can give them little personalities with cute little face stamps.

I used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour the sweet couple in the following colours.

CH1, CG2, CG3, CG4, DG3

For my background I cut the Lots of Love Vertical Cover Die from white card and pieced the hearts back in place securing with tape on the back. This was matted onto black card before adding to a 5x7 card blank trimed down to size.

I kept the card simple and used a couple pf strips of the paper from the Joyful Winter 6x6 Paper Pad just to ground the image.

The sentiment was stamped and embossed on black card and cut our using the matching die. To finish off I added a few small clay hearts around the the image.

Thanks for joining me here on the blog today,  don't forget to hop on over to each of teammates and check out their beautiful creations.

If you would like to purchase any of the new release you can use my code T4TLYNDSEY10 for 10% off your order.

Hello Friend

 Good afternoon everyone,

Today I wanted to share with this bright and cheery hello card I've made from the new Brighter Days release from Time for Tea Designs.

I am very much a cute critter kinda person on my cards, however I fell in love with this gorgeous Mandala Stencil and wanted to make this the focal point of my card.

I trimed a piece of white card using the largest die from A2 Nesting Dies and offset the Stencil towards the bottom RH side.

Using distress inks in the following colours: Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Picked Raspberry I blended from the centre of the mandala to the outside.

I die cut the Hello Sentiment from pink card 3 times and layered together to give it dimension, stamping Friend underneath.

The whole panel was added to the front of a 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide with foam tape and finished off with a few randomly placed Clear Drops.

If would like to purchase any of the products I've used on my card today, you can get 10% off your order in store by using my code T4TLYNDSEY10 😀

Pop up Ducks

Good afternoon everyone and happy Sunday.

I'm so excited to be over on the Time for Tea Designs blog  sharing this card with you today.  Quite a while ago on one of the lives Jo had asked what us Teatimers would like to see in upcoming releases, one of my answers back then was ducks. So I can't tell you how happy I was when I actually saw them feature in this months release.

For my card today I decided to make a box card, which I have seen all over social media lately and just love the design. And obviously I used the adorable Lucky Ducks stamp and die set .

You can find all the details for this card HERE over on the T4TD blog along with a step by step picture guide on how to create the box.

Don't forget you can get 10% off your order in store by using my code T4TLYNDSEY10.

Slothy Birthday

Good morning everyone,

Pinch, punch its the first of the Month! It's the 1st of April, however we have no April Fools here, just a very excited 15 year old celebrating her 2nd lockdown birthday.

We are also celebrating something very exciting over at Time for Tea Designs. Today is the day we launch our new monthly challenges! Pop on over to the blog for all the details on how to enter and win yourself a fabulous prize🎉

So onto my card, the theme for our  first month's challenge is "Cute Critters" now these adorable sloths from the Be Slothy  stamp set happen to be one of my T4T favourite stamp sets and a certain person asked for them on her Birthday card so I just had to use them.

I started by colouring my images with my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest) and cutting them out with the Coordinating Dies.

Sloth - body EB2, GB8, GB10
face/belly - EB1, EB2
Eyes - EB5, EB7
Branches - TN5, TN7, TN9
Leaves - GT1,  GT2,  GT3

I took the Scalloped Circle Trio Slimline Die, cut a panel of white card and used the leaf, flower and butterfly stamps from the set to create a patterned background. I then adhered this onto a piece of white card stencilled with clouds from the Scene it 6x6 Stencil.

I used the next size up die to cut a piece of teal card and finally cut a scalloped piece in pink. I matted all the layers together and added to the front of a slimline card cut to 23cm x 10cm.

I finished off with the "Happy Birthday" sentiment in the bottom right hand corner and a few randomly placed clear drops.

If you would like to purchase any of items I've used on my card today (or any other in store item) you can use the code T4TLYNDSEY10 to get 10% off your order 😀

Floral Blooms

 Good afternoon everyone,

I wanted to share this sweet card with you today made using the lovely Spring Blooms Dies from Time for Tea Designs.

Originally these dies were part of the Spring Blooms Kit, however this sold out pretty quickly but you can still purchase all the dies and stamps individually over in the T4TD Store.

To make the card I first cut 2 panels of white card using the A2 Nesting Dies. I then used the Spring Blooms Dies to cut out apertures in one piece of white card before adhering the 2 pieces together.

I used the same dies to cut the flowers and leaves from coloured card, before giving them some depth with distress ink. The die cuts were then inlaid back into the apertures in the panel.

I die cut the Hello Sentiment Die from blue card, again giving it depth with distress ink before cutting the outer section from velum. This was then added towards the bottom of the panel of the LH side.

The whole panel was matted onto blue card to create a small border and then added to a 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide.

To finish off I added some randomly placed clear sequins.

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

You are Awesome

Happy Sunday!,

It's the end of another week and also the end of February, which means this is my last card as part of my guest month at Time for Tea Designs. I have really enjoyed sharing my creations with you over this past month and quite sad its all over.

On a more cheerful note tomorrow we say hello to March, bringing with it the start of spring and hopefully brighter days. March also means Mother's Day will soon be upon us, so I have used the adorable Smitten Kitten stamp set to make a cute slimline Mother's Day card.

To start with I stamped and coloured the cute kitty's with my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Kitty's  TN2, CT4, GB5
Balloons & Heart Box
Yellow - CT1, CT3, CT4
Red - CR10, CR11, DR3
Pink - BP1, BP2, BP5, BP7

To make the back ground I cut out the Lots Of Love Slimline Die from scrap card to use as a stencil. Using distress inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple to create my ombre look. I then cut the panel out using one of the outer dies from the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies

I used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Die along with stamps from my stash to create my sentiment which I added to the middle of the card. The kitty's were placed above and beneath the sentiment and I added a circle cut from velum behind them just to make them pop from background a little.

I added a few clear sequins randomly around the card to finish off.

Thank you for popping by the blog today.

Sweet Dreams

Hello everyone,

Happy hump day! I'm saring another card with you today as part of my guest month with Time for Tea Designs.

I loved this sweet kitty from the Smitten Kitten stamp set and wanted to put her on a card all by herself. She looks so blissful and comfortable there dreaming of sweet things!

I coloured the kitty up with my Spectrum Noir markers (listed lightest to darkest)

Kitty - BG1, BG3, BG5, BG7
Cheeks & ears   - CR3, CR2
Chocolates - TN5, TN7, TN9
Chocolate heart - CR3,  CR2, CR6

I used a standard 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide and rounded off the bottom corners. I wanted a clean and simple look so opted for just 1 piece of patterned paper with a couple paper strips across the card to give my cat a grounding.

The sentiment is a mix of sets with the 'Dream' from the Unicorn in Training stamp set and the cute heart patterned paper is also from T4TD.

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

Take it Easy

Good morning,

I hope everyone had a great weekend, we are back to Monday and the start of a new week. So to brighten up this gloomy Monday I am sharing this sweet slimline card using the adorable Be Slothy stamp set from Time for Tea Designs. These images are so fun and cute and I just love them!

I coloured the images using my Spectrum Noir markers (listed in order lightest to darkest)

Sloth - body EB2, GB8, GB10
face/belly - EB1, EB2
Eyes - EB5, EB7
Branches - TN5, TN7, TN9
Leaves - CG1, CG3, DG3
Flowers - CR10, CR11

To create the card I took a pre scored DL card blank and stencilled clouds down the centre using the Scene it 6x6 stencil. I then used the Slimline Scalloped Circle Trio Die set to cut a panel from white card and created the leaf pattern with the Tropic Like It's Hot Stencil finally stamping a few orange flowers with the small flower from the stamp set. I added the panel to the card with foam tape to give a bit of depth.

I added the sloths to the card so they were peeking out of the apertures, and popped a little flower by each sloth. The stamp set has some great sentiments so I stamped a few up and added them to the card to finish off.

I hope my card has given you a cheerful start to the week. Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Happy Anniversary

Happy Sunday everyone,

I'm back today with another card for my guest slot with Time for Tea Designs using the Smitten Kitten stamps. Still on the love theme with these cuties, but as Valentines Day has been and gone his time I've used the cute kitty couple image for an Anniversary card.

I adore this cute pair and they are just perfect for anniversary/wedding cards.

I coloured the couple up with my Spectrum Noir markers using the following colours (darkest to lightest)

Left kitty - GB5, CT4, FS7, FS5, TN2
Right Kitty - BG7, BG5, BG3, BG1

For the background I used the Sparkle Cover Plate Die cut from white card and backed with pink polkadot paper, matted onto bright pink card.

For the scene I took a plain heart and inked the clouds using the Scene it 6x6 Stencil. The grass was cut from the Landscape Edges die set. I layered up the 'happy sentiment die to give it some dimension and stamped the 'anniversary' from the stamp set in the bottom right hand corner to finish.

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

Mum

Hi everyone,

Its definitely a TGIF day today, I have had a super busy week at work this week and am looking forward to relaxing and getting crafty over the weekend.

Today I want to share a card with you using the adorable MFT Koala-ty Time stamp set. I just thought this image was so cute and really lended itself towards a Mother's Day card.

I took a piece of spotty paper,  added a strip of red paper down the centre and then matted it into red card; which I then adhered to my card base. For my card base I use a 6x6 pre scored base which I cut down to 12cm wide. I then cut a scalloped panel from white card and die cut a circle towards the top of the panel.

Before adding the panel to my card I popped a piece of a stencilled cloud background behind and then added a strip of grass across the front to give my koalas something to sit on. (Cloud Stencil & Grass Die from Time for Tea Designs)

I coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed lightest to darkest)

Koala - BG1, BG3, BG5  cheeks & ears - CR3, CR2
Jumper (mom) - CR8, DR2, DR3 (baby) - LG1, LG2, LG3
Tree - TN5, TN7, TN9
Leaves - CG1, CG2, DR3

To finish off I added the die cut Mum (which I layered up 3 times) and  stamped sentiment to the bottom of the panel.

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

Happy Chocolate Day

Hello everyone, Lyndsey here and I am pleased to be back in the world of blogging after taking an extended break.

I am thrilled to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for Time for Tea Designs  for February 2021. So today I am sharing a project both here and on the T4TD blog using some of the fabulous items that I was so lucky to receive. I can't tell you how excited I was when my parcel arrived and I saw the adorable Smitten Kittens stamp and die set along with a selection of beautiful dies, I was absolutely in my element!

So onto my card, the stamps and dies in my package were just perfect for Valentines Day makes and as soon as I saw the Horizontal Heart Aperture Slimline Add On Die Set I knew I was it just perfect for a shaker card (this girl loves a cute shaker!).

So I started by cutting my trio heart die from red card - now from the name you will see that this die is an add-on die and is made to coordinate with other slimline dies and only cuts out the heart apertures, so I used a standard rectangular slimline die from my stash to actually cut out the panel. If you have the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies set, this would be perfect for this. You can't really see it in the photo but I did go round the edge of the panel with Candied Apple Distress Ink using one of the Blender Brushes (oh my these are fabulous!!) I then cut a slightly larger panel from a pinky coral colour card so that I would end up with a mat of colour showing all around.

To make my shaker element I stuck a piece of acetate to the back of the hearts panel,  then added foam tape all around the edges and between each heart to create 3 window sections. I filled each section with a selection of sequins and then cut a slightly smaller piece of white card which I added to the back of the panel to enclose my shaker sections. I attached the panel onto the larger pink panel and the adhered the whole piece onto a pre made DL card blank.

The cute kitties were stamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my colouring. I used the following colours (listed in order of lightest to darkest).

Kittens
main body - BG1, BG3, BG5, BG7
ears - C3, C2.

Chocolate Boxes & Red Balloon - CR8, DR2, DR3

Ribbons & Pink Balloons - C3, C2, C6.

Chocolates - TN5, TN7, TN9.

Once all coloured I used the Coordinating Dies to cut out all my images (these make the job so much quicker & easier than having to fussy cut- well worth investing in the dies) and then adhered them to my card using tacky glue adding a kitty to each heart aperture.

I stamped the sentiment "happy chocolate day" from the stamp set and added this to the top right hand corner of my panel.

To finish my card off I took the Lots of Love Slimline Die and cut out a few hearts using a black and white striped paper, I added 3 of these to my panel just to give it a little pop of something extra and finally added a few randomly placed Clear Drops to complete my card.

I really enjoyed using the Smitten Kittens set for my project and hope that my shaker card inspires you to make one of your own. You will find this card and a few others I have made with the Smitten Kittens set over on my Instagram page @the_crafty_blonde
