Fairy wishes

Hi all,

I have had this sweet fairy image coloured up for quite a while now so decided it was time I finally got her onto a card.

The gorgeous image is from Tiddly Inks Stamps and is available as either a clear stamp or digi

I teamed the image with some very pretty Kaisercraft papers that were free with a magazine a few moths back,  as was the fabulous vellum bunting.
The sentiment is from a CC Design set and I finished off with a few paper and resin roses and gorgeous organza bow.

Thanks for popping by my blog today

Paint it Happy!

Hi all

Here with my regular Monday inspiration post from over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog. This week its another free week so I decided to have a play with my new package of goodies from the shop.

I am a big fan of the Hobby House Toppers and think they make a fabulous card and are just perfect for when I can't be bothered to colour or am short on time - which seems to happen a lot just lately.

So for my card today I used a Topper from one of the designs by Elisabeth Bell - and I just love this little cutie.

I teamed the image with some bright and fresh papers from the MME - Milo Pad (I really do love a blue & yellow combo) and added a few flowers, gems & a button from the £1 Embellishment range. The sentiment is from CC Designs Happy Day - I love the funky font and greetings on this set. I stamped the sentiment onto velum as I have been seeing this look about quite a lot lately and think it looks fab!

Now the eagled eyed among you may have noticed that one of my cards was blogged on here last week by one of my lovely ADU teamies Tracy. So firstly I would like to say thank you Tracy for helping me out when I was in a pickle - for those that have followed me for a while will know that my daughter Abbie has Cystic Fibrosis - well things haven't been good for her health wise the last couple of months and 2 weeks ago she was admitted into hospital for IV's. I wont go into too much detail but we had a horrendous time while in there as her veins kept collapsing and she really did go through the mill, but we are home now and hopefully she seems to have picked up quite a lot. Anyway I had no wifi in hospital and the lovely Tracy was kind enough to post my card for me.

On the plus side I also want to tell you about my fabulous & very brave (or possibly mad) cousin who last weekend threw herself out of an areoplane from 10,000 feet up and raised over £1,400 for the CF Trust - we are soooo proud of her, so thought I would show you a couple of pics lol.

A Happy Hello

Hi all,

Its my turn today showcase one of the new images available from All Dressed Up Stamps.

In case you haven't already seen them, have a look at this months gorgeous new releases.

3 Little Summer Girls

Best Teacher Ever

Cheeky Monkey

Prom Princess

For my card I chose to use 3 Little Summer Girls, but only used the one girl as I wanted more of a summery theme rather than a beach theme. I love the fact that not only do you get the whole image you also get each girl individually too!

I coloured the image in with Spectrum Noir's and added a bit more shading with the SN Pencils. The fresh papers are from My Minds Eye - Now & Then Milo and the sentiment is from CC Designs - Happy Day. I finished off with a few WOC flowers and embellishments from the £1 range at MMCS.

Please do pop on over to the blog and check out my team mates fabulous creations using these images an while your their why not join in with our current Challenge. Happy Present Day

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop and this month our challenge theme is

Ink It Up (stamps only)

We want to see stamped images on your cards - no digi's, decoupage, toppers etc

For my card I used an adorable Tiddly Inks stamp - Happy Day - love this little girl all loaded up with presents, wonder if they are for her or someone else lol !

I made a Pull Up Slider Card (you can see how it works better on the bottom picture). Inside is a tab which when pulled up reveals a hidden sentiment, but folds back down flat for posting - cool huh!!.

I used some older My Minds Eye Papers and added lots of gorgeous flowers and a selection of items from the £1 embellishment range to finish.

Sweet little fairies

Hi all

Here with my regular Monday inspiration post from over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog, now I do apologise as this post is picture heavy - but I wanted to show you how the card opens up.

I was totally inspired to do this card after seeing one done by Angela one of my team mates on the Crafters Companion DT. I loved the design so much I made them with my card classes last week and decided to make another one using some of the fabulous products available in store so I could share it with you today.

The card itself is a Gatefold Card, with a central panel mounted on the front on springs (concertinaed panels of card). It then has 2 overlapping images and finally opening to reveal the sentiment on the inside.

I used 2 of the smaller images from The Hobby House - Wee Stamps Little Friends topper set & teamed them with some pretty papers from the First Edition - New Bloom Pad. The Sentiment is from a fabby CC Designs set - Birthday Greetings and really is my to go to set at the moment as I seem to be using it on everything! I finished off with a few punched flowers and a couple of Striped Candy Dots.

Time to Party!

Hi all

Here today to show you my regular Monday inspiration post from over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog. Its all about the Birthday's this week and I had just the perfect image to use for this theme.

For my card I chose to use the very cute CC Designs - Swiss Pixie Party Olivia and teamed her with some fab and funky Carta Bella Papers. Even though they are male themed the pastel colours in the pad still work perfectly for a girly card.

I kept the card quite simple and added just a few embellies from the £1 Embellishment range and finished off with double bow in pale lemon. I coloured the image with my Speccies and completely made a cock-up of her hair and not too happy with her skin tone as I feel its a bit orangey, but hey ho - still learning with them lol !
