Good evening everyone,

Has been a busy couple of weeks here, mainly crafting up a storm and playing with new +Trimcraft Ltd goodies 😊

Today I want to share this Sunburst card with you made using the beautiful Dovecraft Painted Blooms collection - My word! this collection is simply stunning. Beautiful pearlised and glitter papers, gorgeous embellishments, pearls and ribbons.

I wanted a card that showcased the beautiful papers and this Sunburst design is just perfect to give you a taster of each of the papers.

Topped off with a pretty doiley and rosette, makes for a very feminine and pretty Birthday Card

Floral Thanks

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm sharing another +Trimcraft Ltd Blooming Lovely creation with you today, and for this card its all about showing off the pretty papers!

I created a simple floral panel with layered strips, wraped with a pretty bow and added to a card using foam pads to give a bit of dimenson

A simple stamped greeting in the bottom corner adds balance to the bow and a few scattered gems to give a little sparkle.

I love how bright and cheerful this card turned out, it is quite quick and easy to create so perfect for batch making. And with showcasing the gorgeous papers it really doesn't need anything else other than the simple sentiment.

Watercolour Sentiment Cards

Good afternoon everyone,

Today I want to share a couple of cards that are a little different for me!

I've used the pretty wooden stamps from the Blooming Lovely collection from +Trimcraft Ltd  and teamed them with new larger Dovecraft sentiment stamps to create simple stamped cards on a watercolour background.

I created the washed backgrounds by taking ink off an acrylic block with a water brush and randomly painting a piece of white card. Then ink was splattered across the panel and left to dry.

Once dry I added the main sentiments to the centre of each panel and then added a selection of images around the edges.

I really enjoyed playing with the stamps and love how quick and easy it was to create the cards 😊

Bloggers Day

Good afternoon everyone,

On Saturday I was invited up to +Trimcraft Ltd to a bloggers day to celebrate the launch of the new Craft Blog. I had an absolutely amazing day and got to meet up with the girls from Trimcraft, a few of the Design Team ladies and other crafty bloggers in person 😊

We all had a fun filled crafty day and the girls from Trimcraft set us lots of craft challenges to keep us entertained and kept our stamina up with lots of tea and cake!!

So on entrance to the building we were greeted with this crafty fabulous display and welcome sign.

All throughout the building there a lots and lots of display shelving full of amazing projects made by the girls. These are just a couple of  display pic's I took as I was too busy chatting and eating cake lol

Big foil balloons on entrance into the showroom where we got our craft on. Once we had all got ourselves comfortable in our seats the lovely Claire gave us an interactive tour of the new Craft Blog with its shiny new look and features and then set us off on our first task.

Our first crafty task of the day was set by the lovely Maxine and was to create these decoupage frames using the First Edition Decomache papers. We were each given a selection of papers and alphabet stickers and left to our own imagination.

The lovely Claire showed us how to make these Origami flowers.  These were so easy to make and would look lovely in a little pot, and would make the perfect gift for Mothers Day. You can find the Video Tutorial HERE.

Kathy then showed us how to make these cute little note books - Video Tutorial HERE

The final project of the day was to make an item using the new First Edition Wild Flower paper pads to decorate the Trimcraft Mannequin which will now proudly be on display in the showroom. I choose to make this cute little rosette.

During the day we got to play with all the new collections - Dovecraft Painted Blooms & Blooming Lovely and the First Edition Wild Flowers paper pad, Simply Creative paper pads, First Edition Dies and lots of ribbon, buttons and gems. We were also given a sneaky peek at the new Dovecraft Kiss & Makeup collection (out very soon!) and we also got a very very early sneak peek at the new Christmas 2017 ranges - Oh My Word you are all in for a treat they are gorgeous!! 😍😍😍

To finish the day off we were all sent home with a fabulous Goodie Bag absolutely jam packed with crafty items. I can tell you that each bag was 4kg of of crafty goodness!

I can honestly say everyone had an amazing day, it went by so fast and I don't think anyone wanted to leave.

Special Wishes

Good morning,

How are we all today, are we all still loved up from yesterday?

Today I want to share this pretty feminine card with you made using the beautiful Couture du Jour collection from +Trimcraft Ltd

I love how the collection has a vintage look to it, but the pastel colours make it look very girly and pretty.

For this card I wanted to create a clean feeling and so used a white panel to display the decoupage, making it stand out from the background. The white card was embossed using the embossing folder from the collection - with just a hint of patterned paper peeking out from behind.

You can find full step by step details of how I made this card and a full product listing HERE
