This image is called Little Ballerina, the papers are from the Boufle range with some WOC flowers and a CC sentiment to finish.

Lets go fly a kite ........

..... up to the highest heights, lets go fly a kite and send it soaring!!!!.

Sorry got a bit carried away then, just going back to my childhood there, don't you just love the film Mary Poppins.

Anyway today sees a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop and this week our theme is

The Great Outdoors

We are sponsered by the fabulous

Pollycraft

So for my card I choose to use this fabulous little image Cuthbert Breezy, which just fitted this theme so perfectly and made a little scene with him.

The papers were a freebie with a mag a while ago and were just exactly what I needed to match the cute little image. I made a little scene with some sky like paper, added a Martha Steward punched fence and a few flowers and a nice bright sun in the sky.

I was really pleased with card once I had finished it (and its another boys card too!!!). I just love the bright colours used - I even coloured the kite to match the ones in the paper. I also just love my fabby little flowers!!

Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and check out my team mates creations this week.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now onto my giveaway from last week - did you guess right? - The inspiration for my card was ....................... Skater Boy by Avril Lavgine.

So I had 19 comments and I got Oli to choose a number and he chose .......................... Number 4 = Jo- Escape to the Craft Room

Please email me at lyndseyturner@hotmail.co.uk with your address and I will send your little prize out to you.

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Boys Toys

So we would like to your male themed creations.

We are sponsered this week by the generous

So for my card I have used a very cute Wee Stamps Topper which I picked up at the NEC last month. They are so fabulous when you need a quick card.

The papers are MME blink of an eye and I found a bit of brown twill left over from the shop, which I thought was fab and a bit more masuline for a boys card than ribbon. A few buttons with tied with Bakers Twine to finish.

Please pop on over to the challenge blog and check out my team mates Gorjuss creations.

Stars & Stripes - DT for MMCS

Hi all,

Well my recovery is coming along nicely, and I am now managing to have little walks around the house and take less painkiller. My mind & fingers are itching to get creative, although my body is still a long way off from being able to sit at the table and craft.
Anyways Wednesday has rolled round again which means its time for a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop.

This week we have a fab theme for you

Entertain Us!!!

We would like to see your creations inspired by a Movie or a Song

We have been sponsered this week by the brilliant Krista Smith at

So onto my card, to be honest although its a male card I actually really enjoyed making this one probably down to the super cute SC image I used called Skateboarding. I went with a bright & funky boysish colour combo, kept it quite simple with the layout and am really pleased with how it turned out.

So I have a little challenge for you, I have a little prize to give away if you can tell me which song inspired my card. All those who leave me a comment with the correct name of the Artist & Song Title will be entered into a draw to win this fabby little gift.

There are no silly rules to follow as long as you have the correct answer and leave me a comment by next Tuesday 11.59pm, and I will draw a winner ready for next weeks MMCS post.

Please do pop on over to the challenge blog today and check out the rest of the teams entertaining cards.

Thanks for popping by my blog today
