Pretty Mermaid

Hi all,

A very quick post from me today. Thought I'd pop on today with another of my Trimcraft samples made using the gorgeous Mirabelle Collection.

For this card I used the 3D stickers, papers, lace, accordian flowers, metal key charms & buttons. The pretty scalloped border across the bottom is actually cut from some of the packaging.

Thanks for popping by my blog today

Hoot Hoot

Hi all,

Thought I'd pop on today and show you a couple of cute little Owl gift bags we made in class last week.

I found the template on line Here and printed it straight onto white card and covered with paper. I did end up printing off 2 copies so that I could use the other one to cut out the wings and tummy to decoupage them. The eye's I made using plain & scalloped circle nesties.

The little bags were so easy to make, I did them with Abbie and my niece last week and they loved doing them - so deff something you can do with the kids.

Thanks for popping by my blog today

I teamed the image with some fabby Echo Park - Sweet Girl papers and added a double bow using some gorgeous stripey ribbon (hmpf - am nearly out of it now!!). The bow was topped off with a cute Heart Button tied with twine and then I finished off with a selection of £1 Embelishments - Mini Flower ButtonsClear Gem Dots and Mini Striped Candy Dots. The little fishtale banner in the top corner was cut using one of the dies in the Dienamics Blueprints 12.

Dream Girl

Hi all,

I have another Trimcraft Mirabelle sample to show you today.

I have used my last bargin £1 picture frame to create a sweet picture and used lots and lots of the beautiful embellishments available in the range to decorate the frame.

The image in the frame is actually cut from the inside packing from the pearls (I love that the packaging is so gorgeous it can be used too - more value for money lol). To decorate the frame I cut up a doily from the Curiosity Corner range and added it to the top LH and bottom RH side of the frame and edged with thin lace ribbon. I then went to town using the paper roses, accordian flowers, metal butterfly, key & button, wooden button, mini butterfly & heart stickers, resin flowers, pearls and a wooden heart lock which I covered in Aged Ivory Frantage.

I am really please how this turned out and cant see me giving it away at all lol!!

Celebrate in style

Hi all

Well we have a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink today and we also have a new release too
Floral Delight 3 is a collection of 12 floral themed images at just £1.75 each

Now I could tell you that you need to get them cause they are gorgeous, but I can't!!!. Not because they aren't gorgeous they most likely are as always, but boss lady has not let any of the Bugs see any images other than the one we were given to work with. So its a surprise for us too lol.

Anyway our challenge theme this fortnight is Flowers Galore so we would like to see your floral creations please.

For my card I was given the fabby image Martini to use and decided to create a nice bright cheery card.

I teamed my image with some gorgeous papers from MME and added a fabby bow made with lush green stripey ribbon. I kept the card design quite simple as not to take away from the image.

Now on the challenge blog you will only find sneek peaks all of the images. If you would like to get your hands on 4 of the new images of your choice, you just need to pop on over to the bugs blogs, check out their creations and leave a comment on the challenge blog telling us your favourite image.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please do come and join in the fun over on the LCI Blog.

Its another do what you like week this week, and being as I had just had a massive delivery of DT items from Trimcraft that I needed to do something with, and the fact that Kitty is stocking the items too I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and use some of the beautiful new Mirabelle goodies on my card today -I totally love this vintage inspired collection soooo many pretty things to choose from.

I kept the card pretty simple and guess what? for the image I used a piece of the packaging. Yes! can you believe its that gorgeous, when you look inside the boxes there is a fabulous image printed on the packaging just the perfect size to use. So for the card I used the lush A4 premium paper pad & Fabric Brads (for the image) and to finish added a few embellishments also from the collection - Button, Flower, Lace, Gems and a Resin Flower

Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored .....................

................Is exactly how I am feeling right now lol.

For those of you that don't know Abbie was admitted into hospital last week for a 2 week course of IV Antibiotics due to her lung function hitting rock bottom, loosing weight and generally being unwell since before Christmas.

We are on day 9 now so only 5 more days to go, and tbh she is doing extremely well. There has been a massive improvement in her since last week and although we have had a couple of problems with the line collapsing things are generally going in the right direction.

Only one problem, no TV unless you want to pay an extortionate amount for it, no WIFI for my laptop and not enough room to do some crafting - so I am feeling a little bored right now lol!.

Luckily for me for some reason I was super organised at the end on Jan and got most of my DT work for Feb done and out the way which was all scheduled up and left ready to go when we went in.

I think I there is one to come, then I need to get cracking when we get. I haven't been able to pop round and check out your blogs as I only have internet access through my phone which is pants and very intermittent so hopefully will manage to have a massive catch up when I get out.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend whatever your doing
