BBQ Anyone?

Hi all

Here to show you my card for my regular Monday inspiration posting over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog.

This week its all about CAS (Clean & Simple), when I think of CAS I always lean towards making a male card. Mainly because I do struggle with embellies on male cards and doing them CAS just makes it a bit easier lol.

Anyway for my card I decided to use BBQ Chester, he is such a cheeky chappy and this image is just perfect for this time of year don't ya think?

I teamed Chester with some funky chevron paper from MME - Here is Happy paper pad and added just a bit of twine and a wooden button to finish. The sentiment is from CC Designs - Happy Day, to add a bit of interest I used a shaped card blank.

Sweet fairy wishes

Hi all,

My card today is one I made a while for a friend who asked if I could make her a card for a little girls christening as her and her hubby were going to be the godparents.

I hadn't really got any images suitable for that theme, but then they showed me the gorgeous handmade cushion they had got her for a gift - (which was lilac with fairies on it) - and I knew straight away I had just the perfect item to use.

I had these fabulous Wee Stamps Toppers that were sat on my desk and they went perfectly with some of the new papers I was working with for Crafters Companion.

I made the card very pretty and girly and added flowers and tried to keep it very fresh and light.

Bloomin' Fabulous

Hi all

Flowers here flowers there flowers EVERYWHERE!!!

We have a newt release our at Ladybug Crafts Ink. We LOVE flowers ... they are so versatile and cover many occasions.

Our new release is called Bloomin' Fabulous  and there are 12 images in the collection on sale now at £1.75 each. Now as always with a new release we have a few prizes to give away!!!

There is one prize of the WHOLE collection and 5 prizes of 2 images of your choice. All you have to do is leave a comment over on the challenge post as to what your favourite flower is.

Of course we also have our usual challenge running too and our theme this fortnight is

Anything Goes

So nice and easy for you, there are also the usual prizes of overall challenge,  using an LCI image prize as well as Top 3.

Anyway for my card I used the very fabulous and contempary image - Bamboozled Blooms

I kept the design of the card very simple so that the image would stand out and used a leafy pattern paper from LOTV which I think goes really well with the image. I stamped my sentiment on velum again - soooo loving this look at the moment, and added just a couple of fishtail banners at the top to finish.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please do pop on over to the LCI Blog and check out the other new releases and fabulous samples from my team mates.

Paint it Happy!

Hi all

Here with my regular Monday inspiration post from over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog. This week its another free week so I decided to have a play with my new package of goodies from the shop.

I am a big fan of the Hobby House Toppers and think they make a fabulous card and are just perfect for when I can't be bothered to colour or am short on time - which seems to happen a lot just lately.

So for my card today I used a Topper from one of the designs by Elisabeth Bell - and I just love this little cutie.

I teamed the image with some bright and fresh papers from the MME - Milo Pad (I really do love a blue & yellow combo) and added a few flowers, gems & a button from the £1 Embellishment range. The sentiment is from CC Designs Happy Day - I love the funky font and greetings on this set. I stamped the sentiment onto velum as I have been seeing this look about quite a lot lately and think it looks fab!

Now the eagled eyed among you may have noticed that one of my cards was blogged on here last week by one of my lovely ADU teamies Tracy. So firstly I would like to say thank you Tracy for helping me out when I was in a pickle - for those that have followed me for a while will know that my daughter Abbie has Cystic Fibrosis - well things haven't been good for her health wise the last couple of months and 2 weeks ago she was admitted into hospital for IV's. I wont go into too much detail but we had a horrendous time while in there as her veins kept collapsing and she really did go through the mill, but we are home now and hopefully she seems to have picked up quite a lot. Anyway I had no wifi in hospital and the lovely Tracy was kind enough to post my card for me.

On the plus side I also want to tell you about my fabulous & very brave (or possibly mad) cousin who last weekend threw herself out of an areoplane from 10,000 feet up and raised over £1,400 for the CF Trust - we are soooo proud of her, so thought I would show you a couple of pics lol.

A Happy Hello

Hi all,

Its my turn today showcase one of the new images available from All Dressed Up Stamps.

In case you haven't already seen them, have a look at this months gorgeous new releases.

3 Little Summer Girls

Best Teacher Ever

Cheeky Monkey

Prom Princess

For my card I chose to use 3 Little Summer Girls, but only used the one girl as I wanted more of a summery theme rather than a beach theme. I love the fact that not only do you get the whole image you also get each girl individually too!

I coloured the image in with Spectrum Noir's and added a bit more shading with the SN Pencils. The fresh papers are from My Minds Eye - Now & Then Milo and the sentiment is from CC Designs - Happy Day. I finished off with a few WOC flowers and embellishments from the £1 range at MMCS.

Please do pop on over to the blog and check out my team mates fabulous creations using these images an while your their why not join in with our current Challenge. You could win 3 images of your choice!! Also don't forget to drop by our Facebook Group to share your All Dressed Up creations and chat to fellow crafters.

Its time for a new challenger over at Ladybug Crafts Ink today and this fortnight the lovely Tams has decided our theme and she has chosen

Fathers Day / Male
