Hi all,

OK - so whos been singing in the shower this morning, its chucking it down here and has been for most of the night. I think the Autumn/Winter is definately drawing in, though we haven't had much of a summer really. My heating has gone on (much to hubby's annoyance) and thats where its staying lol!!!

Anyway I have a cute little card to show you today using one of the pretty Princesses from The Digi Garden, they are such adorable images and so fab to colour in (lots of large spaces).

I teamed my image with some fabby papers from Grace Taylor collection which is available from Trimcraft stockists, this pad is called Hello Sunshine, the gorgeous Butterfly is a Die Cut again from Grace Taylor and they are all glittery and sparkly. You get loads in the pack and just build them up how you like. The little wooden flower has been coloured with a promarker and sprinkled with Clear Glamour Dust and a few pearls and some lush organza ribbon to finish.

Just Playing

Hi all,

Not been too well over the weekend so no crafting done, however I have been having a play with some Digi Scrapbook Software that I got a while ago and have made a couple of pages of the kids so thought I would show you those.

This one is me trying to get a pic of Oli, with not much luck. He loves the camera about as much as I do lol!!!

This one is from pictures taken at a family party where Abbie did a bit of Pole Dancing. (The room was part of a night club that they hire out - hence the Pole lol!!)

As you can see Abbie is not camera shy at all, she just loves posing for pictures and showing off.

Finally this is me and Abbie doing our best trout pouts after a few little drinkies (me not Ab's !!)

Thanks for popping by my blog today, hope to be back soon with some creations.

Stand up Straight

Hi all,

Hope you are all having a good weekend, my week here has been a bit up & down. My step grandad passed away at the beginning of the month and Fri (yesterday) was his funeral. It was a lovely service and the weather was nice for us so it all went down well. Apart from the fact that on Thurs night just as we were getting into bed my stepmom called to say something was wrong with my dad and needed us round there as she was with her mom in Birmingham ready for the funeral. Rich went round as kids were in bed and the result was my dad being taken to hospital in an ambulance, so we were up most of the night sorting that out, turns out they think he has a gall bladder infection or gall stones and needs a scan to determine the outcome. So yesterday we were very tired and out of sorts, then to top it all off it is my moms birthday today and we all went out for a meal with her and family last night and I had a real funny turn in the pub and nearly passed out and had to come home early. So today for the second weekend in a row I am not feeling too good, at least this week its not self inflicted lol!!!

Anyway enough of my woe's, today we see the start of a new challenge over on the Little Claire blog and our theme this month is

Stand up Straight

So we would like to see your Easel Cards or cards that stand.

For my card I have used the very cute little girl from the Bright Blue Skies stamp set an made a Twisted Easel.

I have teamed my image with some gorgeous papers from Trimcraft from their First Edition range called Boho Chic, added a bit of cream organza ribbon and some gorgeous WOC flowers.

The prize for this months challenge will be some fabby Little Claire goodies, so why not pop over and join in the fun, also check out my team mates gorgeous creations while your there too.

Thanks for popping by my blog today

Pick 2 - fab news

Hi all,

So today I have some fabby news for you, I have been asked to be on the DT for Just Some Lines. Jehanne creates some some fab cute, whimsical images for you to play with.

Today sees the start of a new challenge and the theme this fortnight is

Use 2 different colouring mediums

So we would like to see you colour your images and or backgrounds with 2 different mediums - i.e. Alcohol Markers, Pencils, Chalks, Inks, Sprtiz's etc.

For my 1st DT card I have chosen to use the very cute little Emo Paula Stands - doesn't she just look so sweet standing their in her little garden. I have coloured Paula with my Promarkers, then created the sky background using Chalks and a little cloud template that I hand cut.

I teamed little Paula with some fab MME papers, (I am really running low on these pads and have seen a lot of new designs that take my fancy - so may have to have a spending spree soon lol).  I used my new MD flourish and the little flowers are a Tonic Daisy Punch with metal spacers in the middle. The organza ribbon started off white and I coloured it with a promarker to tone it in a bit.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please pop back tomorrow to see my DT card for Totally Gorjuss.
