Hi all,
This post should have been scheduled for yesterday, but for some reason/fault (probably mine) didint. I thought I would show you the pumkin I made for the kids I was feeling a bit more adventerous with the pumkin this year and instead of doing the usual face I came up with this.
Now its not perfect and next time I would definately do somethings a bit different, but I am quite pleased with the results.
I took a sassy Cheryl digi image - witch on a broom - made it quite large and traced around it on the pumkin. I then drew a moon around it making sure some of the witch overlapped so I would have anchor points, then cut it out with a mixture of my craft knife and a normal kitchen knife.
Some of my cutting in not quite straight as it was quite a thick pumkin to cut through and my knife went off on a swiff in a couple of places, and if you look closely I did cut through the brim of the hat on the right, but generally you can see the jist of the shape.
Thanks for popping by my blog today

On your christening
Hi all,
Just a quick post from me today to show you another of the christening cards I was comissioned to make. This one uses a fabulous dress image that my friend Diane lent me and some gorgeous First Edition Love Letters papers. The card shape is called a buckle card and is one I taught my ladies in class a week or so ago.
I added some glamour dust to the dress to make it sparkle and a personalised sentiment. A few flowers from WOC and a MS butterfly punch to finish.
Thanks for popping by the blog today

Daisy Chains and Buttercups
Hi all,
Sorry I didnt pop back on yesterday with another christening card as promised, we had a bit of a family day and the laptop was banned. For some reason my family seem to think I spend too much time on here lol!!!!. Anyway we had a lazy morning then took the kids out for lunch and to the cinema to see Tintin. I was not that impressed with it to be honest but the kids and hubby!! loved it, we then went hunting for madams halloween costume and sweeties. Abbie loves going treat or treating but I am finding it increasingly difficult to take here as people dont seem to want to answer their doors anymore, then she gets all upset and I feel bad. So this year I have told her I am not going to take her and said she can invite some friends round for a little tea party instead - will have to let you know how that goes!!!
Anyway today sees a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss and this week our theme is
I Remember
This can be anything, something you remember from your childhood, in rememberance of something etc.
And we are sponsered by the fabulous
Whilst looking through my box of LOTV cute squares for something else, this little image just jumped right out at me. When I was little we used to live right across the road from a park, during the six weeks holidays (and lots of other times too) my sister and I would spend a lot of time over there playing with friends and having fun. One of the things we used to do was to pick daisies and buttercups and make them into necklaces, crowns, bracelets etc and dance around the field pretending to be fairy princesses lol!!!. This image totally reminded me of that and so I just had to use it - even down to the colour of the hair on the girls, both me and my sister were blonde when we we young but my sisters was always slightly darker than mine.
As I said the image is a LOTV cute square and I have teamed it with some gorgeous Basic Grey papers, the flowers are a mixture of WOC and some I picked up at the NEC in march and MS branch punch. Craftwork Cards sentiment, papermania gems and some delish dotty satin ribbon.
Well thanks for popping by my blog today, I do you hope you pop on over to the challenge blog and join in the fun this week.

Christening
Hi all,
Well the weather seems to have cooled down a lot here today and have seen nothing but rain so far, going to have to put the heating on it a bit I think, my feet are cold!!!
I have a been commissioned to do 3 christening cards for this Sun, off different people but for the same child. Well that was a challenge in itself as I dont own any suitable stamps at all. I managed to find a LOTV cute square design but obviously could only use it once, luckily my friend Diane came to the resuce with a gorgoeus chirstenining dress stamp and I improvised with the last card lol!!.
Anyway this card uses the LOTV cute square and I have teamed it with some gorgeous First Edition Love Letters papers from Trimcraft. I made an easel card so I could show off the sentiment and added a few flowers and ribbon to finish.
Thanks for popping by my blog today, will be back tomorrow to show you one of the other christening cards.

Get Spooky at MMCS
Hi all
Well its wednesday again and we are halfway through the week, I tell you there doesnt seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment to get everything done. The kids are off and we are going bowling and to Mcdonalds later today, should keep them out of trouble for a couple of hours lol!!!.
So this week I have offically started my new life as a simple housewife lol!!!! on Monday I offically handed in the keys to the shop and left it all nice, clean and sparkly white all ready for the next tennants, will just have to wait and see what it reopens as now. Now I know this was really naughty of me but all last week whilst trying to decorate the shop I was bloomin fed up of people banging on the door and asking me what the shop was going to be next. Truthfully I have no idea whatsoever but guess what I told them ? ............................................. I told them it was going to be an Adult Shop!!!! (you know the sort I mean) and I kept a straight face while doing so. Well all I can say was there was a few surprised faces, lol!!!!
Anyway as its wednesday it time for a new challenge over on the My Mums Craft Shop challenge blog, this week your challenge is :-
GET SPOOKY
and we have a spooktacular prize sponsered by the fabulous
SASSY CHERYL Digi Images
So I dont normally make halloween cards as we dont really celbrate it much over here do we, but the DT were given some spooky images to work with and maybe I could always turn it into a wall hanging and keep it for next year too (why did I not think of that until I was writing up this post, could have just made a wall hanging to start with lol!!!).
Anyway I choose this rather cute/spooky little image called A Witch & a Frog and made my card. The papers were a freebie with Making Cards magazine and came in very handy which meant I didnt have to buy a pad of halloween themed papers. I coloured the image with Promarker and added a bit of purple Tulle and Gems to finish
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges
Paper Pretties - Colours Black, Orange, Green & Purple
Magical Mondays - Halloween
Kaboodle Doodles - Halloween
Daisy Doodles - Halloween
Hooked on Crafts - Something Spooky
Incy Wincy Designs - Halloween, Orange, Black, Purple
Top Tip Tuesday - Trick or Treat
Shopping our Stash - Halloween/Fall Colours
Thanks for popping by the blog today, and dont forget to head on over to the challenge blog and show us your spooky creations.

DT Projects for Trimcraft
Hi all,
As you know I have been asked to design for Trimcraft, well my parcel of goodies came and when I opened it I found 2 of the new First Edtion paper pads - Isabelle and New Leaf. At first I thought what the hell am I going to do with just papers and to be honsest was a bit stumped at first. I didnt want to use the papers with images as I wanted my items to be made with just Trimcraft products and wanted to show off the papers without covering them up. After having a good think and a good nosey round blog land I found a bit of inspiration and came up with these.
I made 2 sets of notelets (2 designs, 3 of each papers) and these were inspired by some on Dawns Stampin Thoughts Blog.
Then I made this fabby Rosette Flower arrangement that was in a craft mag a while ago, and I also made it using Papermania papers for one of my demos earlier on in the year.

Now at the time of the blog hop closing I had 48 comments, so I asked Oli to choose a number between 1 & 48. So Oli's comment was that being as he had just had his 10th birthday and his birthday was on the 10th Oct he could only choose 1 number and that would be number 10
So my winner commenter no 10 was -------------------- Pauline C
Well done Pauline, thanks for joining us in the hop and I hope you enjoy using the fabulous christmas tree stamp.

Totally Gorjuss - BINGO!!!!
Hi all,
Well I have had a lovely few days away, the weather has been brilliiant and the site we stayed at was great with plenty of stuff going on. The caravan was better than expected and nice and clean (which is always a bonus) and the kids mostly behaved themsleves!!!. I even managed to find a little craft shop in Weston-Super-Mare and have a little crafty spend. I feel a lot less stressed and ready to face the challenges of next week in emptying the shop ready to hand the lease back to the council - worse part is they want me to re-plaster and paint it before I hand it back. I took the lease on as a going concern from the last owners and took the shop over as it stood, because I am now giving it back to the council they have said that the premises are not in an acceptable contition and I now have to do all this work - bloomin cheek if you ask me. Mind you now I have started to take down the massive cupboards that have all been screwed to the wall they do look a mess - so if you want to grab a brush and come over feel free!!!!
Anyway I do have some good news, while I was away I had an email with some exciting news - I have been asked to join Totally Gorjuss as a Guest Gorjussette for the next 6 months - way cool!!!. I applied a while ago and didnt really expect to hear anything so was very chuffed and honored to be asked to join them.
So the challenge goes live today and I only got back from my hols yesterday - whats a girl to do - well the washing and ironing was left in a pile for today and last night I got crafty.
My first challenge for them is BINGO! - over on the challenge blog you will see a bingo card and you need to choose a line to follow. I chose the diagonal line of Flowers, Buttons, Bow and made this sweet little card/box. The box folds flat for posting and is held shut with a wrap around band, once the band is removed the box can be opened up to reveal a small gift (such as bracelet, necklace, earings etc) or just a message. I've left mine as a box as I will have a use for it soon.
The image is a cute Nellie Snellen stamp and I have coloured her with promarkers (now Abbie was helping me and the pens kept getting put back in the box to keep them tidy!!!) so dont have a list of colours.
I have added a punched border to the underside of the opening to make it look pretty and finished it off with a bit of organza ribbon and papermania flowers & buttons.
Thank you for popping by the blog today, and for popping by to see my scheduled posts during the week gone. I am hopefully going to have a massive catch up with you all this weekend, do pop over to the TG challenge blog if you get the chance and join in the fun - we are sponsered this week by Simon Says Stamp.
A little reminder also you only have a couple of days to enter the Wild Rose Studio Blog Hop. You can win the fabbby stamp I used on my card and also be entered into the draw to win a fabby prize on the WRS blog. You will find all the details in my post HERE.

Fairy Birthday Wishes
Hi all,
Another scheduled post from me today, I am probably in the caravan packing up the car to come home now and should be home this afternoon rested and relaxed!!!! (whateva I have 2 kids - who comes back from hols rested with kids lol!!)
Anyway I made this card on the sunday before I went away and thought I would schedule it to post today - so you dont forget about me whilst I am away lol!!!. At the time of typing this up I am extremely cross with a certain little lady in my household as I have just noticed looking at the image (which made me check the card to see) there is a bit of pen scribble on the skirt. Madam has not long been told off for being naughty so this must be her revenge!!! little bugger.
The image is a gorgeous Nellie Snellen Sweet Elin stamp and I have coloured her with promarkers. I have teamed the image with some gorge MME papers (really must get these out of my system dont seem to be using anything else at the moment!!!) and added some delish organze ribbon and just a few!!! flowers to finish. I also added stickles to wings to both the fairy and frog make them sparkle, the sky was done with chalk and a cloud template.
Promarkers used :-
Skin - Coral, Dusky Pink, Blush
Hair - Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone
Top, Boots - Antique Pink, Cocktail pink, Pastel Pink
Skirt, Tights - Petrol Blue, Duck Egg, Cool Aqua
Frog - Moss Green, Pear Green, Lime Green
Thanks for popping by the blog today, will be back soon - once all the washing, ironing etc has been done.

Football Crazy for MMCS challenge
Hi all,
I have scheduled this post, so I hope its posted at the right time on the right day!!
Today its time for a new challenge over on the My Mums Craft Shop challenge blog and this week our theme is :-
So we would like to images on your cards that are song related.
We are sponsered this week by Prairie Fairy and they gave the DT some fabby images to work with, unfortunately my printer is out of ink at the moment so I couldnt use one of them.
However it worked out quite well for me as I ended up making Oli's birthday card using a cute LOTV image. Oli was 10 on Monday, and at the mo were are off on a little break in Burnham-on-Sea with him.
My song I have chosen is Name of the Game - by Abba, or you could use the footie chant Football Crazy, Football Mad !!
I coloured the image with Promarkers and then teamed it with some gorge MME papers and added a bit of ribbon & buttons to finish.
Promarkers used
Face - Coral, Dusky Pink, Blush
Hair - Caramel, Sandstone, Vanilla
Top - Yellow, Tulip Yellow, Buttercup
Shorts- Cardinal, Ruby, Antique Pink
Boots - Aubegine, Ameythst, Orchid - Pumkin, Honeycomb, Apricot
Grass - Olive Green, Moss Green, Pear Green
I have coloured the image to look like Oli, the colours I used on his kit are the colours Oli wears for his football team APR, his boots are Addias F50's worn by someone called Messi? and are these very bright colours - so if you were wondering about the odd colour choice thats why!!!. Also had a play at making the grass look a bit textured not too sure if I like it or not, and the sky I made by chalking over a cloud template.
Thanks for popping by the blog today and please pop over to the MMCS challenge blog and join in with this weeks challenge.

Festive Frolics - Wild Rose Studio Blog Hop
Hi all,
This is a scheuled post so hopefully its posted ok!!!
Today is the day of the Wild Rose Studio Blog Hop to celebrate the release of the new Christmas Stamps, I was lucky enough to be asked to be a Guest DT and join in the fun.
So as its christmas stamps the theme for the Blog Hop Festive Frolics and we will all be showcasing some of the fabby new releases.
As a thank you for hopping along with us each of the DT have the stamp they used on their card to give away (well a shinny new one) and a grand prize give away on Dulcie's blog
These are the rules :-
1. Hope over to each DT member and leave a comment on their blog hop post.
2. Enter the challenge on Dulcie's blog which is to create a card with a Festive Theme.
You need to do both of these things to be entered in the Draw, you do not need to make your card using a WRS product but it would be fab if you did.
So lets start, you should have come to me from Ria's blog, if you havent you need to start at Dulcie's blog and hop along in order and in case you get lost during the hop here is the order you need to hop along to :-
Then back to Dulcie. To add your card to the linky.
So for my showcase I chose to use the fabby new Christmas Tree stamp, it is a gorgeous image which also has a sentiment and present stamp in the same pack. Now I loved this stamp and once I got it open I could not stop playing with it, so instead of just 1 card from me I have 3 things to show you.
Firstly this stamp screamed out to me CAS, so the first card I made was something completely different for me and I made a 1 layer!!! CAS card just using the Tree & Sentiment Stamps and added 3 pearls to the bottom corner to finish. The card is a cute little 5" square blank and fits the image perfectly without it getting lost.
For my second creation I went with my usual style of pretty papers, layers and ribbon. Now the papers I have used are WRS Milton Christmas 6x6 papers, they are so fab and have a contempary feel to them with fabby lime green, fushia pink and burgandy colour ways. I stamped the tree in a lovely fushia pink colour and added a few gems to the centre of some of the stars to add a bit of sparkle. All the layers have been popped up on foam tape to give it lots of dimension.
Finally I wanted to make something a little different and came up with this cute little box of tags. The tags are 3" square and I used the papers and the little present stamp and the sentiment stamp on the back. In the box I cut out an apeture in the top and popped an acetate window in so you can see whats inside the box.
Well I hope you like my creations and hopefully I have done the WRS team proud. From here you need to hop on over to Sally Ann's blog and dont forget to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of my creations.
Thank you so much for popping by my blog today, enjoy the hop.

Quick and simple christmas card
Hi all,
Just have a quick post for you today, as things a a bit hetic here due to shutting up shop this weekend. Have been taking down shevling, racking etc and bagging items up that havent sold yet. Car Boots here I come oh the joys!!!!.
This card is one of the few xmas cards I made a while back, very quick and easy to make as the the papers and topper were all free in a mag. This card is for Oli of Abbie, hence the reason for the cute charaters.
I made the card following this sketch challenge that I gave my ladies in class a while ago. Although I did flip it around.
Its a bit of a sad day today as I am supposed to be taking my car back to the garage I brought if off today, as due to the shop closing and not knowing when I will get a proper job I can no longer afford to keep it. I am extremely gutted as its my pride and joy and worked so hard to get it, but they are offering me a deal I cant turn down and settling my finance for me so hey ho!!!
So I wont be posting much next week as Im off on my hols, having a few days away from the stress of everything (before I have a breakdown!!!) but I have scheduled my posts for the WRS blog hop on Mon & MMCS challenge on Wed so please do pop back for those. Hubby will not allow me to take my lappie with me so am gonna be cut off from everything - dont think he realises I can get on here trhough my phone lol!!!
Anyway thanks for popping by my blog today, be back soon.

MMCS first DT challenge card
Hi all,
Well today is an exciting day for me, its my first challenge as part of the DT for My Mums Craft Shop. They have a fabulous challenge this week
All Creatures Great & Small
So we want to see animals on your cards, we have been sponsered this week by Di's Digis and she gave the DT some fabulous images to work with. For my card I chose this sweet image called King of the Castle and teamed it with some delish MME papers and I followed the fabby sketch over on the Sketch Saturday challenge blog. The flowers were made using an X-cut punch and gems and a bit of organza ribbon to finish.

Birthday Cheers
Hi all,
I dont know if it due to the stress of everything here, but I just seem to be coming down with one thing after another at the moment. This morning I have been blessed with a lovely tummy bug!!! couldnt even keep water down, I feel a bit better now and have been nibbling on some arrowroot biscuits to at least put something in my stomach.
Anyway onto todays card, I have used a fabulous LCI stamp called Winestool Nikki and coloured with Promarkers, she is so glamarous and I knew I wanted to give her a red dress and shoes ( I really have a thing about red shoes lol!!!). Once cut out with the nestie, I left her in the frame and then distressed around the edges using Antique Linnen to take away the whiteness of the card. I teamed her with some fabby MME papers which are available at MMCS and made my own flowers using a marianne die. I made the card at the weekend and have kept it for today in the hope that it would have fitted into the LCI challenge - unfortunately this week challenge is no designer paper!!!

Lots of love & more news
Hi all,
Are you still enjoying the lovely weather, I havent really seen much of it this weekend as I was at work all day yesterday but only a week to go now and no more working Saturdays for me whoop whoop!!!!.
Went for my first footie match with Oli today, Rich normally takes him but was on nights last night so I got the job. OMG some of the parents are so competitive!!! they were going a game on the sidelines and everything - think I am going to avoid it as much as poss.
Anyway onto my card, I have used a little cute WRS Mitlon image for todays card and teamed it with some Dovecraft Back to Basics II papers. I have gone for a bit of a clean layout without too many embellies, I am liking this look at the moment -clean lines & not OTT with embellies and it seems that a lot of bloggers are liking this look too there seems to be more of this style being posted.
Promarkers used
Dog - Caramel, Sandstone, Vanilla, Blush (stomach & nose)
Balloons - Amethyst, Lilac, Orchid & Blue Pearl, Denim Blue, Pastel Blue
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges
Simply Create - Older than 6 months
Stampin for the Weekend - What a Cutie
Cute Card Thursday - Animals
Meljens Designs - Square & Circle on same Creation
I also have some more exciting news, I have been asked to be on the DT for My Mums Craft Shop challenges. They have some brilliant challenges coming up with some fabby prizes to be won so well worth joining in the fun on a Wednesday.
Thanks for popping by the blog today
