A little Stuck

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink today and this fortnight my lovely teamie Kath has chosen our challenge and she has chosen

Easel Card

The Ladybugs have also decided to showcase Magnum with this challenge.

I have chosen to use the very funny Catflap Magnum - love the look on his face as he realises that he is a little on the large size to get through that flap. Due to the distruntled look on his face I decided to make the card into a get well card rather than a Birthday one lol

I made the card from Kraft card and covered with some old MME papers, I kept the design very simple and a little on the manly side.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please do pop on over to the LCI Blog to check out my team mates fabby Easel creations.

Shop with style

Hi all,

I hope you are all enjoyed the Easter Weekend and haven't over indulged on Hot Cross Buns & Eggs just yet lol!!. I  have been having a play with my speccies trying to get used to them and I was quite pleased with how this image finished up (apart from a little bleed on the bag!!!), so decided to turn her into a card.

I used one of the gorgeous girls from All Dressed Up Stamps - from the Love to Shop image and teamed her with some fabby Echo Park Papers. (I love the fact that you get the image as a whole and then each girl as an indiviual image too!!)

I went with a pretty simple layout with minimal embellishments and kept it simple with the colours too, Black & White with a little splash of Pink.

Speccie Colours Used
Skin - FS2, FS4, FS5, FS7, TN3

Hair TN1, EB1, EB2, GB8, GB10

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink today and its my teamie Susan's turn to choose the challenge this time and she has gone for

WOW (white on white)

And ladybugs are showcasing lots of lovely Floral Delight images this challenge

Eeeek!!! not sure I like doing these, not my best style at all but I have done my best lol !

I used the fabulous image Wheelbarrow Delight for my card and kept the design quite simple using just a piece of embossed card for the background. I added a few white die cut flowers and some polka dot organza ribbon to finish. I did distress all the edges of my layers to give the card a bit more texture and to define the layers a bit more.

Cat in a Hat!!!

Hi all,

I have a Barkley card to show you today, which was made for the 4DD over on Create & Craft the other week. Unfortunately it didn't seem that this card was taken to be shown as I didn't see it anywhere on display or in the background on the TV. I liked how it turned out though so thought I would show it.

I cut out the Scalloped Circle Easel Card using Grand Nesties on my Callibur using A4 Centrua Pearl Card. From the Barkley Papercrafting Kit I used the 6x6 Acrylic Stamps & A5 Flowers for you Embossing Folder. The image was coloured using Spectrum Noir - BG1, BG2, BG4, BG8, PL1, PL2, PL4, LV4, FS2, FS3 & TN2.

I embossed the card using the folder and then lightly sanded the design back to make it show through better. I cut into a doily and pleated it around the image to add a bit of a frill and added a few flowers and gingham bow to finish. I used a sentiment from the stamp set to act as a stopper for the easel.

Need a hug

Hi all,

I have another couple of the Rachelle Ann Miller cards to show you today - again using CD1 - Kids at Play.

For this card I used Topper design 7, and teamed it with papers - Co-ordinating paper design 2 - colour 5

Co-ordinating paper design 4 - colour 5. The sentiment was printed from Sentiment design 1 & I added a border using Diesire Border Die - Lace Border 2

For this card I used Topper design 11, Co-ordinating paper design 2 - colour 6, Sentiment design 6 & added a border using Diesire Border Die - Lace Border 8.

As all the elements were printed off the CD I only needed to add a few flowers and bit or ribbon/lace to finish them off.

Kids at Play

Hi all,

Hope you are all well, and not like me!. I have had a pretty rubbish couple of weeks health wise with a viral infection & stomach bugs. Poor Oli has also had a nasty Chest Infection which took him off his feet for a couple of weeks and Abbie's check up yesterday didn't go as well as planned - her lung function has dropped back down again and she lost weight again!!!!. On the plus side we had the most wonderful phone call at the end of March and tbh I am still in a little disbelief over it lol. Abbie's nurse had put her in to have a wish granted and we only had a phone call to say it was approved and we are being sent to Disney at the end of the year. To say we are thrilled just doesn't even cover it - I don't think I stopped crying for nearly 3 days - its fabulous to have something to look forward too after having such a miserable couple of years -  and madam is already writing her list of all the things she wants to buy!!

Anyway back to normality and I have a few cards made and not blogged so I thought I'd pop on today to show you a couple I have made using the fabulous and very lovely Rachelle Ann Miller CD Roms from Crafters Companion. I totally love all the adorable art work on these CD's and couldn't wait to make a few cards from it as soon as it popped through my letter box.

To make this card I printed the following from the CD - Topper design 2, Co-ordinating paper design 2 - colour 4,
Co-ordinating paper design 5 - colour 4, Sentiment design 6 the border was made using Diesire Border Die - Lace Border 4

For this card I made a Simple Stepper style card and printed off Fabric Companion design 10, Co-ordinating paper design 6- colour 3 & Sentiment design 1

As all the papers and images were printed off  CD1 - Kids at play all I had to do was add a few flowers and a cute bow to finish off - simples!.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, I have a few more cards scheduled up over the weekend to show you.
