Painted Blooms Sunburst

Good evening everyone,

Has been a busy couple of weeks here, mainly crafting up a storm and playing with new +Trimcraft Ltd goodies 😊

Today I want to share this Sunburst card with you made using the beautiful Dovecraft Painted Blooms collection - My word! this collection is simply stunning. Beautiful pearlised and glitter papers, gorgeous embellishments, pearls and ribbons.

I wanted a card that showcased the beautiful papers and this Sunburst design is just perfect to give you a taster of each of the papers.

Topped off with a pretty doiley and rosette, makes for a very feminine and pretty Birthday Card

Floral Thanks

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm sharing another +Trimcraft Ltd Blooming Lovely creation with you today, and for this card its all about showing off the pretty papers!

I created a simple floral panel with layered strips, wraped with a pretty bow and added to a card using foam pads to give a bit of dimenson

A simple stamped greeting in the bottom corner adds balance to the bow and a few scattered gems to give a little sparkle.

I love how bright and cheerful this card turned out, it is quite quick and easy to create so perfect for batch making. And with showcasing the gorgeous papers it really doesn't need anything else other than the simple sentiment.

Watercolour Sentiment Cards

Good afternoon everyone,

Today I want to share a couple of cards that are a little different for me!

I've used the pretty wooden stamps from the Blooming Lovely collection from +Trimcraft Ltd  and teamed them with new larger Dovecraft sentiment stamps to create simple stamped cards on a watercolour background.

I created the washed backgrounds by taking ink off an acrylic block with a water brush and randomly painting a piece of white card. Then ink was splattered across the panel and left to dry.

Once dry I added the main sentiments to the centre of each panel and then added a selection of images around the edges.

I really enjoyed playing with the stamps and love how quick and easy it was to create the cards 😊

Twist Fold Card

Good evening everyone,

As I'm sure you know by now I love making fancy fold cards and am always on the look out for new ideas to try out.

I've had this one in my Pinterest boards for quite a while now and finally got round to trying it out 😊

Its a Twist Fold Card that looks like a cute little 4 panelled card, but once you take the band off pulls out to reveal a hidden message and measures about 8" sq

I used the beautiful Simple Creative Country Garden papers and Dovecraft butterfly & sentiment stamps from +Trimcraft Ltd

If you fancy having a go a making one of these yourself - I have popped instructions over on the Tutorial Page

Have a Blooming Lovely Happy Birthday

Good afternoon everyone,

How are we all enjoying the weekend? - I'm spending this wet and miserable Sunday by having a crafting session 😊

Today I want to share with you a recent make using the new Blooming Lovely collection from +Trimcraft Ltd. The collection is full of pretty bright floral papers, cute stickers, ribbons, buttons, gems, washi tape all in a lovely spring theme, just perfect for brightening up a dreary day!

The card is a Double Aperture Gatefold which opens out firstly to reveal two apertures and the folding out again to reveal two hidden sentiments 😊

As you open the card you get a little hint of whats to come with the sneaky peek through the apertures - the cute little stickers were just perfect for this!

As you open the Gatefold doors they reveal the hidden sentiments below 😊

I really enjoyed making this card and love how it gives you scope to add lots of lovely greetings/sentiments for the recipent
