Its all about the WOW factor

Hi all,

We have a new challenge starting today over at Milkcoffee and this week our theme is :-

WOW

For those of you who don't know what wow is - it means White on White - so the only colour we want to see on your creation is on the image only.

Now I have to admit I have never made a wow card before and was a bit worried at first as I do love my patterned papers, but dusted off my embossing folders and got to work. I have to say I am really pleased with the end result and it was a change to actually make my flowers using dies instead of reaching for the flower box.

I used the fabulous image - Fairy Tiffany - isn't she just gorgeous!!. I coloured her with my promarkers and and fussy cut her out. The image was matted onto a Floral Oval die cut embossed with the Swiss Dots folder. The background panels were embossed with a Crafts Too Floral folder and I used a couple of MD dies for the flowers & swirl.

Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabulous creations.

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Zipping by

* Please scroll down for the Little Claire release day 3*

Hi all,

Back again as promised with my card for Inky Impressions - thanks to all who joined in last weeks challenge we had lots of lovely entries.

Anyway the theme this week is

Splash of Red

So we would like to see Red somewhere on your card - a little splash of it or a big splash its up to you but it has to be there.

For my card I used the fabby Spunky Scooter Lili - I love her she is so adorable and just so reminds me of  Abbie hers lol.

You can see from my card I have gone with lots of red, I also wanted to keep the card quite simple and funky to tie in with the image. These papers from Echo Park were just perfect and make the card seem bright and cheery. I added a little fish tail sentiment and a few gems to finish, wanted to keep a nice clean look.

Thanks for popping by today, will be back tomorrow with my Milkcoffee Card.

New release day 3

Hi all,

Here today with the final 2 stamps in the new Little Claire release. First up I have Tulip Cat, love this stamp so cute think this has to be my fave of the release.

I am still using the Riverbank Revels papers on these cards, this pad is so versatile with lots of lovely prints. Went for a bit of a red & aqua colour combo on this one and think it gives it such a lovely cool fresh feel.

And finally we have a cute little stamp - Horse - perfect for all those little girls who dream of having a pony.

Again kept with the lovely red on this card and wanted a nice bright and fresh feel to it.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please pop back later to see my challenge card for Inky Impressions.

So I recently fell in love with an adorable range of stamps from La La Land Crafts - now I know they have been around for ages, but I have only just found them lol!!!

I treated myself to a few stamps first - then I realised they came in digi form and well a few more found their way to me too.

So here is my first card using a La La Land image, I kept the card quite sweet and simple and used some more of the gorgeous MME - Howdy Doody papers (I love this pad!!!)

I coloured the image with Promarkers and the colours are as follows (alothou they do look a little washed out on the picture)

Skin - Blush, Oatmeal, Sunkissed Pink, Coral
Hair - Satin, Tan, Cinammon, Walnut
Dress - Soft Peach, Peach, Coral, Burnt Orange
Hat & Flower - Buttercup, Mustard, Gold, Raw Sienna

I added some faby grossgrain ribbon and a few WOC flowers to finish

Under my umbrella

Hi all,

A day late with this post - yesterday saw a new monthly challenge over at Little Claire - and this month our theme is

Love & Romance

So we would like to see lots of love, romance, hearts & flowers on your creations.

For my card I have used the adorable Loverly Jubblies - Robert & Daisy Umbrella image. I chose this image as it make me think of Abbie as the moment - she has a little boyfriend at school and they have been walking home together with his arm around her - awwwww!!!

I teamed my image with some fab Echo Park papers and added a few flowers and cute organza bow. The sentiment is out of the Best Friend stamp.

Sweet Chloe

Hi all,

There is a new challenge over at Pink Gem and this weeks the pinks are hosting. Christine has chosen the theme

Punches & Dies

For my card I have used the adorable Chloe in Knitted Hat available in store or just £1.50.

Chloe was cut out using SB Lrg Oval Die and matted onto SB Floral Oval Die. I then used a MS border punch on the strip across the card and finally punched out butterflies - so plenty of die & punches on my card. I teamed Chloe with some pretty Echo Park papers, WOC flowers and some gorgeous ruffled organza ribbon.

Springtime wishes

Hi all,

I have a cute little card to show you today using a new MFT stamp that I recently purchased. I seem to be having a bit of a spending spree at the min and have found a few new ranges that I seem to have fallen in love with - especially Some Odd Girl & La La Land and of course some new MME papers seem to have found their way into my shopping basket too lol!!!

Today my card has been made using some fabby products that I got from Kitty at My Mums Craft Shop - can deff recommend Kitty for a superfast delivery and great prices.

So I used Springtime Wishes from MFT and Howdy Doody papers from MME. I kept the layout quite simple and added a few pearls and resin flower for decoration. The cute sentiment comes with the stamp along with a few other. Again its one of those smaller size 14cm x 11cm cards and I am enjoying making these at the moment.

Just for fun

Hi all,

I have a card today that I actually made just for fun, no DT work or anything!!! - that doesn't happen very often I tell you.

So I have been eyeing up the cards my teamie Mary J makes for ages and fancied having a go at her style, so here it is.

I used my new uptown girl stamp and some fabby MME papers. The card is smaller than the normal 6x6 I tend to make and is about 11cm x 14cm. I also kept the embellishments very simple and just added a cute little flower that I picked up from Dunelm's for just 50p for the packet - they also had 12x12 bazzil card for just 10p (bargin!!!)

I have to say I am really liking this style and have made quite a few cards like this, just waiting to find some time now to add the images onto them.

Anyway today its a new challenge over at Pink Gem and its the Pink' teams turn to host. Lisa has chosen our theme and this week its

Gingham / Checks

So here is my card -I have used the gorgeous Fairy Chloe and teamed her with some fabby Echo Park papers.
