Birthday Wishes

Hi All,

Bet you didnt expect me back this soon, going by my track record lol!!!, well I had a day off yesterday so managed to get a couple more cards made yay!!. Not after having a bit of a day though, Oli had been moaning about tooth ache so I manged to get him into the dentist, well to cut a long story short the tooth had to be pulled. One very unhappy & upset boy came out of that dentist, I tell you its a wonder you didnt hear the scream, but all's better now and no more tooth ache for him.

So my card today uses - guess !!!! yes another the fabulous LOTV Cute Square, this time I have teamed the fabby little fairy with the gorgeous Pink Petticoat paper pack that came FREE with this months Quick Cards Made Easy !!, very pretty designs although the paper seems a bit thin, but still very lovely.

Thanks for popping by my blog today

*A few of my ladies in the shop have been asking me about layouts so I have set up a another blog with some sketches that I use on my cards, this one will be on there shortly. You will find the blog here , if you do use a sketch I would love to see your creations so please leave me a link.

Dont drop the cake!!!!

Hi all and Happy New Year, hope you all had a great christmas. Not like us, we were all bad with various illnesses between us so christmas was pretty much a damp squid.

Anyway not been blogging for a while or done anything crafty really, but today finally felt like having a bit of a play after catching up on 3 weeks worth of HW!!.

I decided it was time I had a play with some of my stash I got at the NEC in Nov (shamefully its hardly been touched). One of the many items I got were quite a few LOTV stamps, so I had nosy and found a great sketch over on their challenge blog, so it would be rude not to play along lol!!

Stamp - LOTV
Papers - Cosmo Cricket
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Gems - Papermania
Ribbon & Button - Stash from my shop

Tools- Spellbinders Nesties, Martha Stewart Border Punch, Sizzix Corner Dies

Well thanks for popping by my blog today, I hope to be a bit more regular with my postings this year but you never can tell- life has this habit of getting in the way.

For the Boys!!!

Taking a break from the christmas cards I made a few male cards this week using the fabulous cute squares from the LOTV. They a so quick to use and make a great card in next to no time, with the vintage boys pack only some of the image is coloured so I used my poly's just to add a bit more colour to the image.

The papers all all basic grey from the Oliver & Pyrus collections, the kraft card is actually Papermania sq card blanks which I was very dissapointed with as they are def not strong enough to be a blank so have used them for matting and layering. Buttons, ribbon and string are all from my shop.

Thanks for popping by today.

Cute Squares = quick and easy christmas cards

Hi All,
Hope those of you that went are all fully recovered from the NEC, I had such a fab time and spent lots of money. I went on the Thursday with my hubby, then went back on Saturday with Fern. Bumped into a few bloggin buddies - Heidi, Jacqui, Sarah, Becky it was great to meet you and have a little chat.
One of the things I spent my money on was some of the fabulous Cute Squares from LOTV, such great value and brilliant for making quick cards. Obviously the only downside to them is you cant colour them to match your papers, but im sure most of us have enough different papers to find some that match lol !!
Thought I would show you a couple of quick cards I made using some of the christmas squares.

The papers are Papermania and Crafts-Too, Craftwork cards sentiments, MS border punches, Nesties. Ribbon & Flowers were from the NEC.
Anybody a Take That fan, if so did you get the new album and what do you think about it. Very different I feel and cant really make up my mind about it, love a couple of the songs but not sure on some gonna have to listen to it a few more times before I make my mind up.
Thanks for popping by my blog today.
