Wendy Burns and three brand new, exclusive All Dressed Up images are being featured in the current issue.  Several of the design team submissions are also included and our very own Christine is featured on the cover.

The three exclusive digis are:

Flowers for you                                                     Love Spring Time

 Best Friends

These three digital images are currently available only by subscribing to Through The Craft Room Door.  Your subscription entitles you to 5  issues with an additional holiday issue in the November/December issue for $18.00/year. You will have access to all the previous issues, over 100 free digi's, tutorials, inspiration, prizes and articles!

For my featured card I used the gorgeous image - A Time to Share

I coloured the image up with SN's and teamed it with some fabby bright and cheerful Echo Park - Summer Bliss papers. I used lots of fabulous WOC flowers and finished off with a big red bow. The sentiment is part of a set from CC Designs - Birthday Greetings.

I am also lucky enough to be featured in this issue with  my tutorial for A Circular Stepper Card.

Music to my ears

Hi all

It's time for a new challenge at All Dressed Up.

Our theme for this fortnight is :  Bling it up

For my card today I have used the gorgeous image Just so Cool - perfect for that cool teenager!

Just So Cool

I wanted to make a grown up style card, as I thought it would suit the image more than going all girly and pretty so went with a more CAS style and kept with strong, bold colours.

I coloured the image with SN's and teamed her with some fab papers from Echo Park and to tie in with this challenge theme added a fabulous bling swirl (in black of course) and a funky circular sentiment. I felt that the card needed something in the LH bottom corner but didn't want to add a girly bow so decided on a fishtail banner topped of with a bling gem.

Please pop on over to All Dressed up blog to check out the rest of my team mates creations, and why not enter the challenge whilst you are there. This challenge will run until 15th June and you could win yourself 3 images of your choice.

 **Please note**
To enter our challenges you MUST use an All Dressed Up Image or Papers.

Don't forget to stop by our Facebook Group to keep up to date with all the latest All Dressed Up news, and chat to fellow crafters.

Happy Present Day

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop and this month our challenge theme is

Ink It Up (stamps only)

We want to see stamped images on your cards - no digi's, decoupage, toppers etc

For my card I used an adorable Tiddly Inks stamp - Happy Day - love this little girl all loaded up with presents, wonder if they are for her or someone else lol !

I made a Pull Up Slider Card (you can see how it works better on the bottom picture). Inside is a tab which when pulled up reveals a hidden sentiment, but folds back down flat for posting - cool huh!!.

I used some older My Minds Eye Papers and added lots of gorgeous flowers and a selection of items from the £1 embellishment range to finish.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please do pop by the MMCS Blog and check out my team mates fabulous creations. Why not enter our challenge while your there you could win yourself £20 to spend online in store.

Joys of Summer

Hi all,

Well slap my hand!!!! - I have a card to show you today that I made for April's challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop - and I have just realised that I had left it in draft mode and it never got published on my blog lol.

The card is perfect for this time of year so thought I would share it with you today. I love this little cutie looking joyfully at that rather large Ice Cream!

I used a gorgeous Hobby House Topper featuring an adorable Mo Manning image and teamed her with some fabulous Echo Park - Splendid Sunshine papers. I kept the card design very simple just adding a few dots & gems in the corners.

If the shoe fits!

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink, and this fortnight the lovely Chris has chosen our theme which is :-

Monochrome

The bugs have decided to showcase an old favorite with this theme - Killer Heels

For my card I have used the fabulous image - Strappy -and you know what I have a very similar pair of these shoes that my BFF brought me for xmas - wanna see?

Now to be honest me and this challenge just did NOT!!! get on at all. I must have a least half a dozen images half coloured and thrown into the big B file, I could not for the life of me colour in my bloomin shoes at all. In the end I decided to cheat! - I popped the image into paint and coloured it in there, I then opened it up in word added a fabby sentiment I found and framed it with a border.

I kept the card uber simple and just matted onto a piece of black card, I added a few gems in the top corner just to finish.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please do pop on over to the challenge blog and join in with our challenge. You could win yourself 2 images of your choice and if you used a Ladybug Crafts Ink image you could win 4 images of your choice!

Sweet little fairies

Hi all

Here with my regular Monday inspiration post from over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog, now I do apologise as this post is picture heavy - but I wanted to show you how the card opens up.

I was totally inspired to do this card after seeing one done by Angela one of my team mates on the Crafters Companion DT. I loved the design so much I made them with my card classes last week and decided to make another one using some of the fabulous products available in store so I could share it with you today.

The card itself is a Gatefold Card, with a central panel mounted on the front on springs (concertinaed panels of card). It then has 2 overlapping images and finally opening to reveal the sentiment on the inside.

I used 2 of the smaller images from The Hobby House - Wee Stamps Little Friends topper set & teamed them with some pretty papers from the First Edition - New Bloom Pad. The Sentiment is from a fabby CC Designs set - Birthday Greetings and really is my to go to set at the moment as I seem to be using it on everything! I finished off with a few punched flowers and a couple of Striped Candy Dots.

Halcyon Days part II

Hi all,

Back to show you the rest of my Halcyon Days samples, by the looks of the shows the collection has sold really well. If you missed yesterday shows, you can catch the lovely Dawn Wheeler today at 11am, 2pm, 4pm & 7pm

For this card I used just papers from the A4 Paper Pad - I used 3 sheets and cut them up to create a decoupage effect. I added a wrap of acetate over the image and added the bunting on top and another layer of the grass. The bunting and sentiment have been printed off the CD Rom.

These 2 cards have been made using the Shaped Card blanks, and sticking 2 together to create Easel Cards. All the toppers and embellishments have been printed from off the CD Rom.
