Buttons & Bows anything goes

Hi all,

Today sees the release of the August Stamp Club from Little Claire. We have a gorgeous stamp for you this month called Buttons & Bows and for just £8 you get the stamp & sentiments, instructions and supplies to make a card and a further 2 full colour project instructions for you to try.

So here are my cards I made using this fabulous image.

For this card I teamed my image with some pretty pastel papers from First Edition called Spring Drop, added a pretty doillie, cheesecloth and satin ribbon and some fab Prima flowers to finish.

On this card I have taken a leaf out of my team mate Georgina's book and made my own backing paper by using the button & heart accessory stamps that also come in the packet. A bit of faux stitching, tulle and flower to finish off.

Please pop on over to the Little Claire blog to see what my team mates have done with this stamp.

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Wedding Tree

Hi all,

Well sorry I have been absent for a few days, tied myself up to too many normal life things last week including running the school summer fete and the time just ran away with me. So have been grovelling on my knees to my teamies at Totally Gorjuss & Cardmadfairys for letting them down on challenges last week (slaps hands!!!!)

Anyway didn't think I had anything to show you as I have not made anything for a few days, then remembered that I had a card published last Thursday in Quick Cards Made Easy Iss 103 on behalf of Little Claire.

As it's that time of year when we think of weddings etc I decided to use the Changing Tree stamp and used the wedding accessories.

The papers were from the Dovecraft Tea Party Range and I went with pastel colours and pretty patterns. A few flowers from a Tonic Punch and finished off with some gorgeous organza ribbon and pearls.

Thank you for popping by my blog today, really must try and catch up with some commenting now!

Changing Tree

Hi all,

What a bloomin dreary day it is again, I cant believe I am sitting here with my heating on in the middle of July!!!!.

So what can we do to brighten up the day, well Little Claire are releasing another new christmas stamp today called Christmas Changing Tree. If you already have the original Changing Tree you will know just how versatile it can be. You can buy the set as a whole with trunk & 10 accessory stamps for £5.50 or if you already have the trunk from the original set you can get the accessory stamps for just £3.99.

So here are my samples.

So what do you think, fabulous isnt it!!, the best thing is you can also combine the other accessory stamps with it too such as the musical notes, owls, hanging hearts or use the presents from this one on a birthday tree.

I teamed my image with some Dovecraft & HOTP papers, a few punched snowflakes and the sentiments are Little Claire too.

Would you like to win this stamp?, pop on over to the Blog and let us know what sort of tree you would like growing in your garden and 3 lucky peeps will be chosen at random. I can tell you now that if you asked my hubby his answer would be 'a Money Tree' lol!!

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Sit back, relax & enjoy - DT card for Little Claire

Hi all,

Well  I am a day late with this post, as I dont really like putting 2 posts on in the same day so I saved this one for today.

We have a new monthly challenge over at Little Claire and this month our theme is

Holidays/Summer

so we would like to see your holiday/summer inspired creations.

Now the prize for this months challenge is this fabby little bundle of goodies

And here is my card

I have used a fab Digi Image called Seasons Summer Scene which can be used on its own (like I have done) or combine it with the Seasons Window. This image just sums up the summer and holidays to me, sitting outside relaxing in the sun, catching a few rays with a nice little drinky poo on the table lol!!!. I have teamed the image with some gorgeous First Edition Papers, Dovecraft Ribbon, Tonic Punch flowers and a LCI sentiment.

Please do pop by the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabulous summer inspired creations.

Christmas in July

Hi all,

Well today is one of my fave days of the year (the NEXT sale lol!!!) have been this morning with Abbie and topped up our holiday wardrobe.

But back to business & today sees a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss and this week our theme is

Christmas in July

So we want to see your Christmas creations.

Now for my card I was challenged by Steve & Gill at Little Claire to create a Christmas card from one of their none Christmas stamps and I was given the stamp At Home, which is a lovely village scene.

So I made my grass and roof's look like they were covered in snow and made it look like it was snowing using my white gel pen. The paper is from Papermania and I also used a LC Christmas Sentiment Stamp. A few flowers and some gorgeous pleated Gingham ribbon to finish.

Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabby creations.

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Spell it out

Hi all,

Sorry I havent been around for a few days, really need to catch up with my commenting. However I have been very busy behind the scenes making lots of Christmas samples for Little Claire and also organizing the school summer fete on the PPTA.

Anyway today I have a couple of samples to show you from a new stamp release from Little Claire called Daisy Dot which is an alphabet & numbers clear stamp set. For £12.99 you get the complete alphabet, numbers 0-9 and the ?, !, & symbols.

Here is a close up of the detail

And here are my samples.

I have kept my samples very simple as I really wanted to show off the letters. I die cut each individual letter and them gave them a frame before putting them on my cards with foam pads. On the first card I just coloured the flowers and on the second I coloured round the flowers which gives them a different look.

Thank you for popping by my blog today, hope to catch up with you all soon.
