Its party time

Hi all,

Its my last sneaky peek of my Barkley samples today before the live shows start tomorrow. I am so excited at the thought that my cards are going to be on the TV, I have set the sky box to record all the shows lol!!

Anyway I thought I'd show you today one of the cards I made using the stamp set (and one of my first attempts at using Spectrum Noir's). I made this cute little double flap card with cut out apertures.

I love how this card opens up and that you can see the image on inside of card even when its shut. I did add a little magnetic fastening to keep it closed as it kept popping open lol. I used the A4 paper pad, Decoupage & Expoy Stickers to add a little extra embellishments to the card.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, I do hope you tune in for the shows and grab yourself this fabulous collection.

Stole my Heart

Hi all,

Well I am here today with my inspiration card for My Mums Craft Shop - now I know I am a few days late with this, but lets just say - the first card I made had an argument with a Cup of Tea and the second attempt fell foul to an overactive Ink Pad lol. So this my 3rd attempt finally got made but by then my turn had passed so I waited until today for a free slot to post.

Anyway the theme this week has been animals and I used this adorable little stamp set from Newtons Nook - Sweetheart Tails.

I teamed this adorable little character with some fabulous Echo Park Papers - Times & Seasons 2 and added just a little wooden heart shaped button to finish. All the elements on the card were cut using dies from the Blueprints 12 collection.

Thank you for popping by my blog today, please do pop on over to the MMCS Blog to see all the beautiful creations made by my team mates.

Best of Friends

Hi all,

I have another sneak peek for you today using the fabulous new Barkley Papercrafting Kit from Crafters Companion. You can get your hands on this kit in a 4DD from 8am on Monday on Create & Craft.

This creation I am showing you today is a little gift box with 4 mini (10.5cm x 10.5cm) cards inside, the front of the box is cut lower than the back and I made a little acetate lid to pop on over the top.

I used the cute little Decoupage & Topper images and 6x6 Paper Pad to make the items. All the sentiments have been stamped from the 6x6 Acrylic Stamp Set and the box and card bases have all been made from Centura Pearl card.

Sit back, relax and enjoy!

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this fortnight ladybug Julie has chosen our theme which is

For a special Lady

Now with Mothers day being very close - if you haven't already now's the perfect time to make that card or I'm sure we all have a Nan, Aunt, Daughter etc to make a card for so you have no excuse really.

For my card I have chosen to make my Stepmom's Mothers Day Card, now I don't like putting Stepmom on there so I normal go for a more generic Happy Mothers Day - or like something like the sentiment I have used here.

I have used the very classy and stylish Martini Nikki for my card - doesn't she look just fabulous relaxing on here chais lounge with a glass of something sparkly. (Just what every mom should be doing on Mothers Day lol). Now I have used a Nikki stamp on my card but unfortunately she is no longer available as a clear stamp BUT!!! you can get her in Digi for just £1.75 - making her a fabulous bargin. I teamed Nikki with gorgeous My Minds Eye papers - Now & Then Milo and went for a very fresh & pretty colour combo (I love blue & yellow). The sentiment is also from LCI and I finished off with a bit of lace & a  few flowers and gems to make it look pretty.

Thanks you for popping by my blog today, please do pop on over to the LCI Challenge Blog - check out my team mates fabulous creations and join in the fun while your there too.

Sugar & a little Spice

Hi all,

I am here today showing you my regular monday post over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog, we have been given a free rein again this week and I just had to use my new MFT Pure Innocence stamp - Sassitude.

I teamed this sassy little sweetie with some gorgeous papers from Echo Park - Splendid Sunshine - OMG these papers are so gorgeous and such a fabulous selection of prints and colours in it. The floral panel has had a little circle die cut out of it and then had been matted onto the card using foam pads to give it a little depth. The fabulous sentiment comes with the image and I cut it out and made the cute little flowers using the MFT Dienamics Blueprints 12 Die. I finished off the card with just a couple of little Striped Candy Dots and a few gems.

Just for you

Hi all,

Before I show you my card today I have to share some fabulous news. I am so excited about it and have been grinning from ear to ear ever since I found out. I have only gone and been asked to be on the Crafters Companion design team, to say I am thrilled is an understatement and OMG I think the first time I see my cards on the TV I am going to be screaming lol. I have joined the team with lots of other very talented ladies including my blogging buddies TracyKitty & Joey and can't wait to see their creations, some of their DT application samples blew me away they were sooo gorgeous (did sit for a while wondering how the hell I got chosen lol). I get my first assignment real soon and and soooo excited about it.

There is a sad part though, in order to be able to fulfill my duties to Crafters Companion I have had to step down from designing for Trimcraft. I have enjoyed working with them over the last few years and have been so lucky to have gotten to play and make creations with some wonderful products. I still have a few Trimcraft samples to show off and will be posting them soon.

Anyway I have a little card to show you today I made for a friend who's birthday was a couple of days ago - she is a lovely lady who comes to my classes and we always send each other cards for birthdays and such.

The image is a cute little Pure Innocence cutie which I coloured with my PM's - you can get a whole range of PI stamps from My Mums Craft Shop - HERE. I teamed the image with some gorgeous Echo Park papers. I die cut a few clouds from a MB die and added a little bit of lace and a few Flowers to finish.

Thank you for popping by my blog today, hope you have a fabulous weekend and enjoy the warm weather.

Thanks ever so much!

Hi all

Here today (running a little late!) with my regular Monday posting for My Mums Craft Shop. This week our theme is flowers and I so I took it literally and used this gorgeous floral image from Mama Elephant - one of a new range of stamps available in store now.

The stamp is from the Water Blooms Set and I stamped it firstly in green then re-stamped onto a spare piece of card in yellow and decoupaged the flowers up on top. The gorgeous papers are from the new MME pads Now & Then Milo and I added a couple of embellies to finish from the £1 embellishment range - Wooden Heart & Striped Candy Dot.

Hugs

Hi all,

How are you all enjoying this fabulous warm sunny weather?. I'm lovin it - got the windows and back door wide open so got lots of lovely fresh air coming in and sitting here in front of the french doors letting the sunshine warm my back lol. My neighbours are currently cutting their grass but we're not that brave just yet lol!.

Anyway thought I would pop on today with a cute little card I made using an adorable LOTV image - I got one of the B&W pads when this set first came out and forgot I had it until I found it the other day, so have a coloured a couple up and this is the first one.

The image is from Sketch Pad 2 - Jack, Patch & Puss but is also available as a stamp called Big Hug. I coloured the image using my PM's and tried to give the fur a bit of texture to make it look a bit more realistic. The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and I used a couple of cute embellishments from the MMCS £1 Embellishment range - Wooden Heart & Resin Daisy. I finished off with a bit of gingham ribbon and a few pearl gems.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, hope you all have a fantastic weekend I know I will!

Text Talk

Hi all,

Its time for a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this week the lovely Sue has chosen our theme which is

One for the Boys

Blahhhh!!!!!!! - Is all I have to say about this challenge lol. I hate making male cards and am never happy with how they turn out and this one turned out to be no exception.

I used Mobile Phone Josh image for my card and teamed him with some funky papers from Trimcraft, First Edition - Man Made. I tried to sort of make a scene style and in my head he is leaning up against a wall with the city in the background chatting away to his mate lol. I love the cool dude image and its just perfect for that teenagers card (which tbh images are hard to come by), and I love the fab papers - but I don't really like the card that much. I tried adding embellishments but none looked right so in the end I just left it CAS, I'm sure at some point it will come in handy for one of Oli's mates.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please do pop on over to the LCI Blog and check out my team mates fabby creations and join in with our challenge.

Butterfly Dreams

Hi all

Here to show you my card for my regular Monday inspiration post over on the MMCS Blog. We have a free week this week and I decided to use this gorgeous Little Miss Muffet Stamp - Sonny Honeycloud butterflies.

I teamed the sweet image with some beautiful Echo Park - Beautiful Life Papers and added just a few embellishments from the MMCS £1 Embellishment range.

I had a go at creating my own background for this image, and tried my hand at creating clouds in the sky and more lifelike grass. I didn't blend the sky too much as I wanted it to look a bit uneven to make it more realistic. I don't think its too bad for a first try and am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, please pop on over to the MMCS Blog throughout the week to see my team mates fabulous creations.

Fairy Magic

Hi all

It's time for a new challenge at All Dressed Up.

Our theme for this fortnight is :  CAS (Clean & Simple)

For my card today I have used the gorgeous image Fairy Magic - how adorable is she!!.

Fairy Magic

Here is my CAS creation I made for this challenge. I'll tell you it took longer to make this card than it does to make a normal one, I knew what I wanted to do with it but just couldn't get it to look right. I knew I wanted to add a little bit of paper on the card and tried loads of different papers and border combinations, eventually I settled with this.

I don't think she turned out too bad in the end, and love how the colouring turned out. The paper I ended up using was an old Basic Grey one, but I think possibly I could have done with a smaller pattern but ho hum!

Please pop on over to All Dressed up blog to check out the rest of my team mates creations, and why not enter the challenge whilst you are there. This challenge will run until 15th March and you could win yourself 3 images of your choice.

 **Please note**
To enter our challenges you MUST use an All Dressed Up Image or paper.
