Frosty the Snowman

Hi all,

Well I am late with this post as I have just realised I didn't post it on Tue (slaps hand!!!). We have a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink and this fortnight our theme is ...

Blue & White Colour Combo

So we would like to see you creations with predominately these colours.

For my card today I have used the fab image Snowman Chorus and have used a piece of embossed card for my background (no patterned papers at all!!!).

I kept the card very simple, matting the embossed card onto blue and just adding a few snowflakes to finish off. I love the fresh clean look of it.

Please do pop on over to the Challenge Blog and check out my team mates fabby creations, join in the fun while your there too.

Thanks for popping by my blog today

Cheeky Swing

Hi all,

I have made a few cards using these fabulously cute Mo Manning Hobby House Toppers, so thought I'd showcase them all together this week. Love how using these they make putting a card together so quick & Easy.

I teamed the image with some Freebie papers from a mag last year, all matted onto Kraft Card. I added a lovely christmas flower and a bit of satin ribbon with a lovely organza & satin bow. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards & a few little pearls to finish off

Birthday Bubbly

Hi all,

It was my cousin's 21st on Monday and we had a fabulous weekend celebrating with her - 2 meals & a party hasn't done much for my diet though!!!

Anyway thought I'd pop on today and show you the card I made her.

I used a fabulous image from Ladybug Craft Ink - Though the Ages 21- and teamed it with some bright and funky MME papers. I finished off with a few WOC flowers and some lovely lilac satin ribbon.

I wanted to card to have a young and funky feel to it but still be a bit girly & pretty, and am quite pleased with how it turned out in the end.

Little Star

Hi all,

Its my turn to inspire you today over on the All Dressed Up Blog and so I have made a little tutorial on how to make this cute little Buckle Style Card.

I have used the gorgeous image Happy Christmas Little Star - which is available in the Store now along with lots of other stunning images.

Happy Christmas Little Star

I teamed the image with some gorgeous paper from LOTV - Woodland Wishes - the patterns and colours in this pad are just devine and would also suit Winter Birthdays as well as just Christmas.

The flowers are a mixture of WOC & Hobbycraft and the lovely Die Cut leaves I added behind are a Joy Crafts Die Vintage Flourish 6003/0026

I finished off with a organza polka dot bow & snowflake charm. The large sparkly snowflake is a Tree Decoration I picked up from Adsa (about £2 for 10 I think) lol.

For a full step by step tutorial  please do pop on over to the ADU Blog. While your there have a gander at all the other gorgeous creations my team mate have made to inspire you.

Snow Buddies

Hi all

Its my turn today to show you a little inspiration over on the My Mums Craft Shop Blog, and our theme this week is to use None traditional Christmas Colours.

Now I have to admit I was a bit stumped on this as all my xmas papers were the usual reds, greens, blues etc. Then I had a brainwave and decided to use a none xmas pad and used a couple of sheets with a more generic pattern in them.

I used an adorable Tiddly Inks stamp - Winter Wishes and teamed it with some gorgeous Echo Park papers - Here & Now. I kept the card quite simple just adding a few snowflakes cut from a Marrianne Die and bit of white Satin Ribbon.

I am quite pleased with how my card has turned out and I hope it has showed you how you don't need to spend lots on new paper for Christmas cards but to be a bit wise with the papers you may already have.

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

Bow front card

Hi all,

I have a few Class Cards that I have taken photos of and haven't shown you yet, so thought I'd pop on today with another one.

This is one I called a Bow Front Card (really cant remember where I found the inspiration from for this as we made it a while ago) and the style of the card is just perfect for showcasing 2 images.

The cute images are Teddy Bo and we free with a mag and we teamed them with some fun and funky papers from DCWV. Love this style of card and it does fold down flat for posting.

Pretty Backgrounds

Hi all,

Thought I'd pop on today with a Class Card we made a while back. For this card I was showing the girls how to create your own fabulous paper background using the Herringbone Technique I saw over on Splitcoast Stampers.

As the background kept them, busy for a while we used some gorgeous pre-coloured Toppers for the images and kept the cards quite simple just adding a couple of flowers and a pretty bow. The papers we used were LOTV.

The girls loved the effect the pattern gave, but dont think they enjoyed cutting up all the little strips of paper and sticking them together lol - they keep threatening to ban me from using the internet!!
