Me time

Hi all,

OMGoodness I'ts been a long time since I actually managed a post on here, time flies when your having fun - or not as case may be.

I haven't really been crafting much to be honest - apart from teaching my classes my card making whittled down to more or less nothing from about Oct last year and I have only just begun to get the bug back. Although I have been rather busy doing other things, which I shall show you soon.

Anyway whilst going through all my files I have round quite a few cards and other bits and pieces that I never got round to blogging, so thought it was about time I uploaded them. Hopefully by the time I have finished posting all the catching up cards I should have some new ones to post - I have recently treated myself to a few new items - so watch this space lol 

This selection of cards is some I did for Crafters Companion back in September for a Spectrum Noir show on C&C - using the Scruffy Little Cats.

I have to say these 3 ladies were my faves out of the collection and I was pretty pleased with my colouring skills using the SN's - although I probably can't colour for toffee now lol.

Well its nice to be back, hopefully will manage to keep on top of things again now and get all the rest of my unblogged cards posted.

Shop with style

Hi all,

I hope you are all enjoyed the Easter Weekend and haven't over indulged on Hot Cross Buns & Eggs just yet lol!!. I  have been having a play with my speccies trying to get used to them and I was quite pleased with how this image finished up (apart from a little bleed on the bag!!!), so decided to turn her into a card.

I used one of the gorgeous girls from All Dressed Up Stamps - from the Love to Shop image and teamed her with some fabby Echo Park Papers. (I love the fact that you get the image as a whole and then each girl as an indiviual image too!!)

I went with a pretty simple layout with minimal embellishments and kept it simple with the colours too, Black & White with a little splash of Pink.

Speccie Colours Used

Skin - FS2, FS4, FS5, FS7, TN3

Hair TN1, EB1, EB2, GB8, GB10

Top & Bag- BGR1, BGR2, BGR3

Skirt - PP5, PP3, PP1
