Scent-Sational

Hi all,

Well its only 1 day to go before the launch of the fabulous Scruffy Little Cat range on C&C tomorrow, so I thought i would pop on with another sneek peak at one of my makes.

For this card I have coloured up the very glamorous Chanel with my SN's and made an 8x8 Gatefold Style card.

All the papers have been printed from off the CD and the red rolled roses are also from a printable embelishment on the CD. I tucked a little doily in behind the image cut from the Die'Sire Chantilly Lace Die and the leaves behind the flowers are from the Quilling Die Leaves #2. The card is held shut with some gorgeous black satin ribbon.

Classy & Fabulous

Hi all,

I have another sneak peek for you today, using the fabulous new range from Crafters Companion - Scruffy Little Cat. (please scroll down to yesterdays post for full details)

For this card everything has been printed off the CD and I used one of the printable Easel Card kits and one of the Toppers (this classy lady is called Chanel).

This card was so easy to make as all the extra embellishments such as the buttons, tags & cute little bow are all printed off along with the Easel Base. I printed everything off onto CC Light Printable Card and the matted everything onto Centura Pearl. I added some interest with a Die'Sire Lace Border Die #4 and tucked a doily in behind the image. To finish I added a few flowers and flourish and topped the tags with a satin bow.

- One die-cut topper sheet

- Six A6 rubber stamp sets
(plus two exclusive Ideal World ones - Amy & Holly)

The collection will be available as a Pick of the Week on Create and Craft on Fri 9th May.

So onto my card - I have used the very fabulous Lola A6 Rubber Stamp and have coloured her in using my SN's - (These the stamps are perfect for use with the complete Spectrum Noir range as there's lots of scope for hair, skin and clothes colouring/blending).

I decided to make a scalloped easel card and this one is about 8x8 cut using Grand Nesties on my Callibur. The card base has been made with Centura Pearl and the papers have been printed off the CD. I used the Die'Sire Lace Border #2 to add a bit of interest and the sentiment (comes with the image) was stamped onto the smaller fancy oval from the Die'Sire Cameo Frame Dies. The flowers have been cut from templates on the CD and finished off with leaves from the Die'sire leaves #2 Die.

There are no rules, no right or wrong. Give yourself plenty of time as crafting is addictive & just have fun, and if in doubt ADD GLITTER!"  of which you can get in abundance with our range of Darice glitters we have have on the Crafters Companion site.
