Relax & take a break

Hi all,

Today I want to share with you a sneak peek at a fabulous new range available very soon from Crafters Companion. Think Towie, fake tans, long lashes, leopard print, glitz & glamour! The range called Scruffy Little Cat originally made famous by their collection of personalised hand painted jute shopping bags has now been turned into a craft collection and I'll tell you its bloomin fabulous.

This new collection will contain
- One papercrafting CD-ROM
- Two 6x6" paper pads
- Two 5x7" embossing folders
- One die-cut topper sheet
- Eight 4" acrylic stamps
- Six A6 rubber stamp sets
(plus two exclusive Ideal World ones - Amy & Holly)

The collection will be available as a Pick of the Week on Create and Craft on Fri 9th May.
Show times

- Fri 9th May: 12pm, 3pm, 5pm
- Sat 10th May: 8am, 1pm, 5pm
- Sun 11th May: 12pm, 1pm, 4pm, 6pm
- Mon 12th May: 2pm, 5pm
- Tue 13th May: 12pm, 5pm
- Wed 14th May: 3pm, 6pm
- Thu 15th May: 9am, 1 pm

So onto my card - I have used the very fabulous Lola A6 Rubber Stamp and have coloured her in using my SN's - (These the stamps are perfect for use with the complete Spectrum Noir range as there's lots of scope for hair, skin and clothes colouring/blending).

I decided to make a scalloped easel card and this one is about 8x8 cut using Grand Nesties on my Callibur. The card base has been made with Centura Pearl and the papers have been printed off the CD. I used the Die'Sire Lace Border #2 to add a bit of interest and the sentiment (comes with the image) was stamped onto the smaller fancy oval from the Die'Sire Cameo Frame Dies. The flowers have been cut from templates on the CD and finished off with leaves from the Die'sire leaves #2 Die.

Spectrum Noir Colours
Skin - FS7, FS5, FS3, CR5, CR7
Hair - TN1, EB1, EB2, GB8
Clothes & bottles - PP1, PP3, PP5
Bath trim & taps - GB1, GB4, GB8

You can find more sneek peeks on our FB page Crafters Companion UK & in our FB group I'm a Crafters Companion. We also have more sneak peeks and an interview with the Artist herself  on the Crafters Companion Blog and as the artist Sharon Cansfield says : "Don’t be daunted - YOU can do this & you CAN create something unique. There are no rules, no right or wrong. Give yourself plenty of time as crafting is addictive & just have fun, and if in doubt ADD GLITTER!"  of which you can get in abundance with our range of Darice glitters we have have on the Crafters Companion site.
