Stars & Stripes - DT for MMCS



Hi all,

Well my recovery is coming along nicely, and I am now managing to have little walks around the house and take less painkiller. My mind & fingers are itching to get creative, although my body is still a long way off from being able to sit at the table and craft.
Anyways Wednesday has rolled round again which means its time for a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop.

So onto my card, to be honest although its a male card I actually really enjoyed making this one probably down to the super cute SC image I used called Skateboarding. I went with a bright & funky boysish colour combo, kept it quite simple with the layout and am really pleased with how it turned out.




So I have a little challenge for you, I have a little prize to give away if you can tell me which song inspired my card. All those who leave me a comment with the correct name of the Artist & Song Title will be entered into a draw to win this fabby little gift.


There are no silly rules to follow as long as you have the correct answer and leave me a comment by next Tuesday 11.59pm, and I will draw a winner ready for next weeks MMCS post.

    So pleased you are feeling a little better. Hopefully it won't be too long before you can sit and have a little crafty session at the table again.

    Fewer painkillers sounds good.

    Loving your card. Great colour combo and layout. I bought this image at the weekend when I had my first little spend with Saturated Canary.

    As for your inspiration song .. .. I just have to go for Skater Boy by Avril Lavingne .. .. or should I show my young and "with it" side and put Sk8er Boy LOL!!
