Hi all,
This week is turning out to be a bloomin horrible one, first the news with how long its going to be before I have my operation. Then yesterday at Abbies monthly review at the hospital she had lost more weight, her lung function was worse than when they admitted her for IV's in Jan & they are 99% sure she has CF related Diabetes which will mean insulin injections for the rest of her life as the CF diet obviously really contradics with a Diabetes diet!!!!! She will be fitted up to a glucose monitoring machine next week for 7 days and we have to keep a food diary of what she's eating and check her blood sugar levels 4 times a day so they can get a better picture of whats going on. (thats going to be fun pricking her finger to get the blood out that many times a day) Not!!!!!!!
Anyways Wednesday has come around and that means its time for a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop, this week our theme is
Spring Colours
We are sponsered this week by the fabulous
The Paper shelter were kind enough to give the DT some images to work with and I chose to use the fabulous image Spring Swing isn't she just gorgeous.
After being inspired by a card on Jacqui's blog I decided to make an Acetate Easel card. I coloured the image with promarkers and added the clouds with a cut out template and chalks. The papers are from Kars and are so so pretty, the lovely pastel pink, blue & lemon are just perfect spring like colours. I think I went a bit OTT with the flowers and bling but wanted a really pretty and girly feel to my card.
Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabulous creations.
Thanks for popping by my blog today
Lyndsey xx
