Bloomin Doctors & Papertake Weekly

What a palarva we had today. Abbie has now come out in these scabby spots all over her body & has a very nasty one right on the top of her mouth. They started appearing on Fri and have left it a couple of days before going to the docs just in case it was a rash. Well my mom thinks they look like chicken pox spots, and I do too from what I can remember when Oli had them. So got on the phone to the docs this morning, cant make an appoinment with the receptionist the Nurse Practitioner has to phone you back first to see what the problem is. Well she called me back and I explained about the spots, she said I think its chicken pox, cant do anything about it just dose her up with calpol and see it out. I asked her if it would have any effect with Abbie being a CF child and she goes Oh I dont know perhaps you better bring her in. So off we trapes to the doctors, me driving very carefully in the snow, no bloomin room on the Docs car park, so parks a bit further down the road, and then have to carry Abbie up the road cause she wont walk in the snow!!. Anyway when I finally got into see the doctor he goes, well I think it might be chicken pox but i'm not sure 'and i'm like well yes I think it is as well thats why I brought her here' so after all that we still dont know for sure. The only good thing that came out of it, was that he told me that chicken pox can effect the chest-which I didnt know, and obviously with Abbie it could be more the case. So he checked her chest out and said it seemed fine, but have to keep my eye on her just in case. So we just have to wait now and see what these spots do.

Anyway I will get onto the card now. Over at papertake weekly they are going dotty, this week and want to see circles on your cards.

The Image was very kindly sent to me by the lovely Dawny P, along with her blog candy that I won. I have coloured it in using inks & a waterbrush are seeing the tutorial by chris. Not got quite as far as doing the back ground and shading yet but its a start. The papers are Papermania sweet nothings, Sizzix cardstock, Papermania Element flowers & Dovecraft ribbon.

  7. Oh you poor thing, what a rotten day! Chicken pox is so horrid, two of my girls have had but Georgia only got two spots when she was a baby so am still waiting for them to erupt! Our doctors is the same here, don't know what they are doing. I know that lots of cuddles and fluids helped Amy and Jess and thank god for dvd's. Hope you don't get poorly too, at least crafting has been some light relief to you today, hugs to Abby, Heidi xxx
