Special Delivery

Good morning everyone,

We are supposed to be in for a very sunny day today to so its a perfect day to share this cute bright and cheery card using the Lawn Fawn Special Delivery stamp set.

I started by colouring my images using my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Chick - LY2, LY1, LY3
Beak - OR1, OR2, OR3
Box - EB2, GB8, GB10, TN7
Bag - BG4, BG5, BG6

I used the MFT Quilt Die to cut a white frame and papers from the Lawn Fawn Spring Fling to paper piece in the pattern design. This was then layered onto a piece of yellow card cut using the largest of the First Edition Postage Stamp Nesting Dies.

I added a couple of die cut clouds behind my image to create the impression of a sky and popped the stamped sentiment banner towards the bottom right hand side of the panel.

The whole panel was adhered to a 5x5 card blank and finished off with a few randomly placed clay hearts from Lucy's Cards

Happy Mail

Good afternoon and happy Sunday,

Anyone else body clock messed up  from that lack of 1 hours sleep? Well I know I could have stayed in bed for and extra hour, but it's Sunday and I like to get my jobs done out of the way so I can spend the rest of the crafting.

Anyway today I want to share this cute shaker card with you made using the adorable Happy Mail stamp and die set perfect to send a card to someone to say hello.

To start with I stamped and coloured the images using my Spectrum Noir markers (listed below in order of lightest to darkest).

Raccoon - IG1, IG2, IG3, IG5, IG7, IG9
Dog - IG1, IG2,  IG3, IG5
Boxes- EB2, GB8, GB10
Pink - CR3,  CR4,  CR6
Green - BT2, BT4, BT6

I decided to make a cute shaker card and used the Dotty Hearts Cover Plate to cut the front panel. Using a Circle Nesting Die to cut the aperture.

I added a sheet of acetate across the back of the panel and used a double layer of foam tape to create the dimension to added my shaker elements which are one of the new Embellishment Mixes, finally adding a piece of teal card across the back.

I took a piece of patterned paper and cut just slightly larger than the panel and adhered both to a 5x7 card blank trimmed down to fit.

I added the die cut Hello Sentiment Die in the bottom left hand corner and added a few clear gems to finish.

Hogs and Kisses

Happy Sunday everyone,

It's officially spring, the sun is shining and I wish I was out I the fresh air enjoying myself just like this little cutie.  However I have an ironing mountain to tackle then I'm hoping for a crafty afternoon.

I adore this sweetie from the Hogs & Kisses Stamp Set, they look like they're having so much fun out in the sunshine on their glittery scooter (I mean who doesn't love anything that's glittery!)

To start I coloured my image with my Spectrum Noir markers (listed below in order of lightest to darkest) and cut out with the Hogs and Kisses Coordinating Dies .

Pig - CR3, CR2, FS8, CR1
Scooter - GT1, GT2, GT3

I wanted to do a little something different with the back ground and had an idea in mind using the Speech Bubble Stamps. I took the A2 Layering Die Set and using the 2nd largest cut a panel of white card, which I then added colour too using Cracked Pistachio & Evergreen Bough Distress Inks.

I laid out the speech bubble stamps across the panel and stamped using Versafine Ink in Onxy Black, repeating a couple of stamps to fill out the whole background.

I created the little scene using a selection of dies from the Landscape Edges Dies and Windmill Add On Set and added it towards the bottom of the panel, trying not to cover up too much of the background.

The whole panel was then matted on the black card cut using the largest Layering Die and added to a 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide. I finished off with a few randomly placed clear sequins.

Floral Blooms

 Good afternoon everyone,

I wanted to share this sweet card with you today made using the lovely Spring Blooms Dies from Time for Tea Designs.

Originally these dies were part of the Spring Blooms Kit, however this sold out pretty quickly but you can still purchase all the dies and stamps individually over in the T4TD Store.

To make the card I first cut 2 panels of white card using the A2 Nesting Dies. I then used the Spring Blooms Dies to cut out apertures in one piece of white card before adhering the 2 pieces together.

I used the same dies to cut the flowers and leaves from coloured card, before giving them some depth with distress ink. The die cuts were then inlaid back into the apertures in the panel.

I die cut the Hello Sentiment Die from blue card, again giving it depth with distress ink before cutting the outer section from velum. This was then added towards the bottom of the panel of the LH side.

The whole panel was matted onto blue card to create a small border and then added to a 6x6 card blank cut down to 12cm wide.

To finish off I added some randomly placed clear sequins.

Sprinkles of Love

Good morning everyone,

Well it's a bright but windy start to the day here, perfect for battening down the hatches and crafting.

Today I want to share this magical fairy card with you using the MFT Stamps Flower Fairies stamp set. These girls are so cute and the sentiment is just perfect for sending to someone just because.

I started by colouring my images with my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order lightest to darkest)

Skin - FS2, FS5, FS7, TN2
Cheeks - CR3
Hair (brown) - EB2, GB10, EB6, EB5
Hair (blonde) - LY2, LY1, EB2, GB10

Pink - CR3, CR4  CR6, CR9
Yellow - LY2, LY1, LY3
Leaves - LG2, LG3, LG5
Wings - IB1, IB2, IB3

I took a 6x6 card blank and trimmed it down to 12cm wide and added a piece of the stripy paper to front slightly smaller than the card to leave a nice border.

For the panel I cut out a piece of white card using the 2nd largest die from the A2 Layering Dies and die cut an inverted scalloped circle towards to top section. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in bottom right hand corner.

I created a cloud background using the 6x6 Scene It Stencil and added this to the back of the panel before adhering the panel to the card using foam pads.

I popped the fairies around the aperture using foam pads and finished off with some pretty gems.

I matted the whole scene onto some Navy card and finally added the panel onto a 5x7 card blank that was cut down to size.
