Wedding Tree

Hi all,

Well sorry I have been absent for a few days, tied myself up to too many normal life things last week including running the school summer fete and the time just ran away with me. So have been grovelling on my knees to my teamies at Totally Gorjuss & Cardmadfairys for letting them down on challenges last week (slaps hands!!!!)

Anyway didn't think I had anything to show you as I have not made anything for a few days, then remembered that I had a card published last Thursday in Quick Cards Made Easy Iss 103 on behalf of Little Claire.

As it's that time of year when we think of weddings etc I decided to use the Changing Tree stamp and used the wedding accessories.

The papers were from the Dovecraft Tea Party Range and I went with pastel colours and pretty patterns. A few flowers from a Tonic Punch and finished off with some gorgeous organza ribbon and pearls.

Thank you for popping by my blog today, really must try and catch up with some commenting now!

Changing Tree

Hi all,

What a bloomin dreary day it is again, I cant believe I am sitting here with my heating on in the middle of July!!!!.

So what can we do to brighten up the day, well Little Claire are releasing another new christmas stamp today called Christmas Changing Tree. If you already have the original Changing Tree you will know just how versatile it can be. You can buy the set as a whole with trunk & 10 accessory stamps for £5.50 or if you already have the trunk from the original set you can get the accessory stamps for just £3.99.

So here are my samples.

So what do you think, fabulous isnt it!!, the best thing is you can also combine the other accessory stamps with it too such as the musical notes, owls, hanging hearts or use the presents from this one on a birthday tree.

I teamed my image with some Dovecraft & HOTP papers, a few punched snowflakes and the sentiments are Little Claire too.

Would you like to win this stamp?, pop on over to the Blog and let us know what sort of tree you would like growing in your garden and 3 lucky peeps will be chosen at random. I can tell you now that if you asked my hubby his answer would be 'a Money Tree' lol!!

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Sit back, relax & enjoy - DT card for Little Claire

Hi all,

Well  I am a day late with this post, as I dont really like putting 2 posts on in the same day so I saved this one for today.

We have a new monthly challenge over at Little Claire and this month our theme is

Holidays/Summer

so we would like to see your holiday/summer inspired creations.

Now the prize for this months challenge is this fabby little bundle of goodies

And here is my card

I have used a fab Digi Image called Seasons Summer Scene which can be used on its own (like I have done) or combine it with the Seasons Window. This image just sums up the summer and holidays to me, sitting outside relaxing in the sun, catching a few rays with a nice little drinky poo on the table lol!!!. I have teamed the image with some gorgeous First Edition Papers, Dovecraft Ribbon, Tonic Punch flowers and a LCI sentiment.

Please do pop by the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabulous summer inspired creations.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, will be back soon with some exciting news.

Christmas in July

Hi all,

Well today is one of my fave days of the year (the NEXT sale lol!!!) have been this morning with Abbie and topped up our holiday wardrobe.

But back to business & today sees a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss and this week our theme is

Christmas in July

So we want to see your Christmas creations.

Now for my card I was challenged by Steve & Gill at Little Claire to create a Christmas card from one of their none Christmas stamps and I was given the stamp At Home, which is a lovely village scene.

So I made my grass and roof's look like they were covered in snow and made it look like it was snowing using my white gel pen. The paper is from Papermania and I also used a LC Christmas Sentiment Stamp. A few flowers and some gorgeous pleated Gingham ribbon to finish.

Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabby creations.

Thanks for popping by my blog today.

Spell it out

Hi all,

Sorry I havent been around for a few days, really need to catch up with my commenting. However I have been very busy behind the scenes making lots of Christmas samples for Little Claire and also organizing the school summer fete on the PPTA.

Anyway today I have a couple of samples to show you from a new stamp release from Little Claire called Daisy Dot which is an alphabet & numbers clear stamp set. For £12.99 you get the complete alphabet, numbers 0-9 and the ?, !, & symbols.

Here is a close up of the detail

And here are my samples.

I have kept my samples very simple as I really wanted to show off the letters. I die cut each individual letter and them gave them a frame before putting them on my cards with foam pads. On the first card I just coloured the flowers and on the second I coloured round the flowers which gives them a different look.

Thank you for popping by my blog today, hope to catch up with you all soon.

So here's the sketch (nice & easy)

And heres my Card, I have used a fabulous new image from Milkcoffee called Tiffany in the Wonderland, isnt she just gorjuss.

Under the Sea

Hi all,

What happened to yesterday's sunshine, It was raining when I got up at 6.30am and it is still raining now bloomin weather!! At least I love my Postman today he has just brought me some lovely parcels of goodies - my goodies from winning the Willow Sketchie Challenge, 12 x 12 Tilda Paper Pad from Cardmaking & Papercraft Challenge & a fabulous parcel from Little Claire with lots of new Christmas designs. I am going to be one very busy lady!!!

Anyway today sees a new challenge over at Cardmadfairy's and we thought we would try and spread a little sunshine your way so this challenge theme is

Summertime

We would like to see and summer themed creation, whether its the image, papers, colours etc.

So here is my card, now I chose to use Molly Mermaid for my creation as I was thinking summer = beach = sea = mermaids (think I have watched Barbie Mermaid Tale DVD too many times with abbie!!).

I tired to create a little scene and imagine she was swimming under water, so I used a little bit of cheesecloth and some Sizzix Swirls as seaweed.

Hope you like my creation, please do pop by the challenge blog and check out my team mates fabulous summertime creations. Remember if you want to join in the fun you must use a Digi Image on your creation.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, pop back tomorrow to see my DT creation for Totally Gorjuss.

Catch a little fishy - DT card for Milkcoffee

Hi all,

Well after a wet start this morning, the sun is now shining here not sure how long it will last though!!

Today sees a new challenge over at Milkcoffee Challenge and as we are on the countdown to the start of the Olympics, this week our theme is

Sports

So we would like to see any kind of sporting creations on your card, remember you dont have to use a MC image but we always love it when you do.

Now I am not into any kind of sport at all. I have to say I hate it with a passion, I would much rather sit comfortably and read a nice book than get all hot and sweaty running about - so I wont be bothered with the Olympics at all (sorry!!). Now hubby on the other hand is mad about football (well don't even get me started on that - bloomin being paid loads of money for running about kicking a ball!!!!) and will watch any match going, but at least it gives me peace to craft when he is occupied.

So for my card I used the fabulous Lets Go Fishing which is available with lots of other fab designs in the Milkcoffee Store. Reason being - in my head fishing is a much more relaxing kind of sport and I could imagine myself sitting on the bank of a river, enjoying a good book whilst hubby did a spot of fishing lol!!!!.

Anyway whilst sorting through my papers, I found these fabulous fishy one's from the Male Smirk range from Trimcraft and thought they were just perfect. I used a bit of cheesecloth as my net, and a bit of twine to look like a fishing line lol!!. I finished off by cutting out and decoupaging some of the little fish and 'Gone Fishing' sign.

Please do pop by the challenge blog, check out my team mates creations and join in with the challenge yourself. You never know you could be the winner of 3 Digi's of your choice.

Thanks for popping by my blog today, will be back tomorrow with my DT card for Cardmadfairy.
